Fulham (1) 1-0 (0) Norwich

Sean Kavanagh scored his first senior goal as Fulham got back to winning ways against league leaders Norwich.

The youngster bagged the only goal of the game to knock the Canaries off their perch and earn a fourth victory in five for the Cottagers.

Caretaker boss Kit Symons made one change from the side that lost at Middlesbrough last time out, with Kavanagh coming in for the injured Fernando Amorebieta.

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half. Lasse Vigen Christensen played in Kavanagh, who steadied himself before drilling his shot across John Ruddy into the bottom corner.

Dan Burn saw a header cleared off the line by Wes Hoolahan as the Whites threatened another before the break.

Norwich were handed the chance to level just 60 seconds into the second half when Burn was adjudged to have tripped Cameron Jerome in the box.

However, Lewis Grabban smashed his spot-kick against the bar and Fulham cleared the loose ball to safety.

The Canaries piled on the pressure, with Bradley Johnson's fizzing 35-yard effort the closest they came to an equaliser.

Moussa Dembele almost wrapped up victory with his first touch after entering the fray, but Ruddy did well to hold his close-range shot.

Norwich sub Josh Murphy almost levelled late on, but his superb curling effort came back off the woodwork as the visitors went home empty handed.

Fulham: Bettinelli, Hoogland (Zverotic 22), Bodurov, Burn, Stafylidis, Ruiz (Dembele 72), Parker, Christensen, Kavanagh, McCormack, Rodallega.
Subs (not used): Kiraly, Hutchinson, Roberts, Williams, Hyndman.
