Fulham's midfield star Sean Davis was rewarded with a key role in today's
1-0 victory over Albania after his starring performance in England's 4-0
victory over Finland.
England under-21 coach Howard Wilkinson operated with a 4-1-4-1 system with
Sean playing a holding role just in front of the back four.
After the game Wilkinson was in upbeat mood even though his side needed
a Jonathan Greening penalty to beat also-rans Albania in the European Championship
qualifier.
Squad:
Weaver (Man City), Young (Tottenham), Terry (Chelsea, captain), King (Tottenham),
Barry (Villa), Davis (Fulham), Christie (Derby), Greening, Wilson, Chadwick
(all Man Utd), Vassell (Villa). Subs: Kirkland (Coventry), Prutton (Nottm
For), Parker (Charlton), Bramble (Ipswich), Naylor (Wolves), Smith (Watford),
