| Unhappy Glenn Roeder |
Fulham being successful in the InterToto has upset Glenn Roeder of West Ham because it has led to the postponement of the local derby with The Cottagers.
The game at Fulham's temporary home Loftus Road was originally scheduled to take place of Wednesday 28 August, but the fact that Fulham will be playing the second leg of their Intertoto Cup final against Bologna the day before has forced the game to be called off.
Roeder has said that there are not many alternative dates for the game this side of Christmas. But the Hammers boss is also disappointed as the club will also miss out on the cash windfall from the game being televised on Sky TV.
"Losing the Fulham game was a real body blow for us because it was a Sky game and there is a lot of money involved on those.
"We are talking about hundreds of thousands of pounds. And, like last year, we are going to be a game behind everyone else.
"And we can't really see where we are going to fit the game in at the moment,"
