Well the day Fulham fans all
around the world have dreamed of is just hours away. Fulham playing in
the Premiership, one of the most important football leagues in the world.
When we dropped out of the top flight all those years ago none of us could
have imagined what a difficult road we were set on. Many Fulham fans have
grown up only knowing disappointment and ridicule but still the supported
The Team.
We have been fortunate to experience the rollercoaster ride of the last
three or four years, promotion after promotion, multi-millionaire owner
who is committed to the Fulham dream, Adams, Keegan and best of all Jean
Tigana, all the good players who have worn and those who continue to wear
the White shirt with pride.

OF THE NATIONWIDE AND THE PRIDE OF LONDON
Our first game in the Premiership
is the toughest game of the season, away to Man Utd. We know how we did
in the Cup last year so we do not have to fear them or anyone over 90
minutes. At the moment all the Pundits and Bookies are unable to see anything
other than a win for Man Utd of about 2-0 or 3-0 so if we lose it is expected
if we draw or win we will be the talk of the land. Jean Tigana, as usual,
put the situation in it's correct perspective " We will be going
to play good football and trying to win but if we lose it is expected
and there are 38 games."
Nearly a totally predictable first group of results in the 2001/2002 Premiership
season. Blackburn, Southampton, West Ham and Middlesboro were beaten and
Aston Villa draw 0-0. Surprises were that Bolton won away at Leicester
5-0 and Arsenal scored 4 in beating Middlesboro.
