Fulham complete the move of Marieanne Spacey, one of the most successful female footballers from Arsenal.
Spacey, who has won 91 England caps, helped the Gunners clinch a second successive AXA FA Premier League title in April.
The 36-year-old striker has been with Arsenal since 1994, more recently combining her playing role with that as the club's Development Officer.
However, to complete her outstanding career, Marieanne has decided she would like a new challenge and has switched from north to west London to join Fulham Ladies.
Spacey said: "Obviously it was a very difficult decision to leave Arsenal after such a long time.
"Earlier on last season I had considered retiring, but I had never expected this kind of opportunity to arise.
"To be given the chance to play professional football was something that I had to consider seriously.
"After sitting down and reviewing my situation, I feel I still have a lot to offer Fulham Ladies and have found my enthusiasm rejuvenated by this opportunity."
