Jan Koller signs a new deal

Fulham's hopes of landing Anderlecht's Jan Koller have finally been dashed after he extended his contract with the Belgium club until 2004.

Cottagers boss Jean Tigana was a known admirer of the giant Czech forward and had a bid in excess of £8m rejected by the Champions League outfit.

Indeed, Fulham were not the only side across Europe to be linked with the impressive forward, but he has decided to pledge his future to the Belgium champions for the next three and a half seasons.
