Fulham skipper Andy Melville saluted his side's goalscorers as they picked up their first Premiership win at the expense of Sunderland.
Barry Hayles and Louis Saha scored the goals that saw Jean Tigana's men bounce back from their Old Trafford defeat and defender Melville had no doubt as to who held the key to the 2-0 win.
He said: "The front two in the last two games have been unplayable - pace, power and both scoring goals as well.
"The boys are delighted. We created a lot of chances and I think we deserved the result on the night.
"We took the positives from the game on Sunday and produced a performance like that. We set our standards on Sunday and kept them going tonight."
"We started off nice and sharp and built on that start. Hopefully now we can build on the result. There's no pressure. This is where we want to be - and where the supporters, the manager and the chairman want to be.
"They had two chances in the first half. Kevin Phillips might be bit disappointed he didn't hit the target, and Kevin Kilbane got through the middle of the defence.
"Against Manchester United, we defended well, but slipped up on couple of occasions. That's what we've got to learn from - you don't get away with it in the Premiership."
Beaten Sunderland boss Peter Reid refuse to blame keeper Thomas Sorensen, even though hus blunder led to Fulham grabbing the all-important first.
The Denmark keeper's weak clearance set up Barry Hayles and spelt the beginning of the end for the Black Cats, but Reid was happy to excuse his number one.
He said: "He's held his hands up. I wouldn't swop him for anything. I'm really disappointed getting beaten, but these things happen in football and you bounce back.
"I was pleased with the chances we created away from home. When we were 1-0 down, I thought we might as well go for it, and it didn't work out.
"I thought we played well, but they are a good footballing side. I think we weathered the storm and possibly had the best chances."
