Aston Villa travel to Loftus Road intent on proving to an out-of-sorts Fulham that their new found form in no mere fluke.
-
Having notched their first win away from home in the Premiership and more than doubled their scoring ratio with the 2-5 eclipse of Middlesbrough, Graham Taylor's side went on to thrash Blackburn 3-0 at home. Bouyed by eight goals in two games, Villa now aim to ensure Fulham suffer a third defeat on the bounce. The Cottagers followed a heavy loss at Manchester City with last Saturday's odd goal in three defeat at leaders Arsenal.
- Villa have not beaten Fulham away in the top flight for over 37 years and the Cottagers have looked decidedly stronger in front of their home fans with successive victories over Birmingham and Charlton in the FA Cup, separated by a 1-0 home League success over Middlesbrough.
- Villa's veteran striker Dion Dublin has scored an impressive seven goals in seven League games.
- Victory for the Villains would complete a second 'double' of the season, after home and away victories over Middlesbrough.
- Won last two Premiership games.
-
Last defeat was 0-1 at home to Tottenham in the Premiership on 18 January.
- Last away defeat was 3-1 at Manchester City in the Premiership on Boxing Day.

- One of four clubs to have won the fewest number of away Premier League games (1). The others are Fulham, Middlesbro and Sunderland.
- One of three clubs to have built the longest drawing sequence in away top League outings (3). The others are Southampton and Sunderland.
- One of two clubs to have sustained the longest sequence without a win in away Premier League games (11). The other is Sunderland.
- One of four clubs to have scored as many as five goals in a single Premiership game. That was in the 2-5 away win over Middlesbrough on 28 January.
- Fired 172 shots off target in Premiership matches this season. That's more than any other club.
