Fulham at Villa: Team News

last updated Friday 24th August 2007, 3:34 PM

Fulham are ready to hand a full debut to Diomansy Kamara in Saturday's Barclays Premier League match at Aston Villa, following the news that Brian McBride will be out until December after knee surgery.

Goalkeeper Antti Niemi misses out again with his wrist injury - new signing Kasey Keller is expected to be on the substitutes bench, with Tony Warner continuing in goal.

Hameur Bouazza is sidelined for around two weeks with a shoulder injury, while Aaron Hughes (ankle) is still two weeks away from fitness.

Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill has no fresh injury worries after the mid-week internationals.

Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is still sidelined with a hamstring injury but is expected to resume training next week.

Midfielder Patrik Berger's jarred knee means he is again unavailable but he has started running and could also soon come into contention.

O'Neill is hoping striker John Carew will put an early season groin problem behind him after scoring twice for Norway against Argentina in mid-week.
