Blackburn Rovers will hope to halt their slide down the Premiership table with victory over Fulham at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Mark Hughes's team are currently on the longest run without a win of any side in the league - since beating Wigan almost two months ago, Rovers have taken just two points from six matches.

His team have games in hand on their rivals but are out of the bottom three only on goal difference.

The Cottagers' garden is altogether rosier after Chris Coleman engineered a win over Arsenal in midweek - a victory which lifted his team into the Premiership's top half.

Coleman's defensive numbers are bolstered by the return from suspension of ex-Rover Ian Pearce.

Pearce is likely to step straight back into the side, probably at the expense of Philippe Christanval, with Coleman reluctant to risk starting the Frenchman twice in four days following a lengthy injury absence.

Tomasz Radzinski, meanwhile, faces a late test after crashing headlong in to the advertising hoardings during the act of scoring his team's second goal against The Gunners.

For Rovers, Tugay is suspended following his sending off against Tottenham last time out, and Aaron Mokoena could start.

Lucas Neill is poised to return after sitting out Rovers' last two matches with a hamstring injury, though the Australian could have a fight on to regain his place at left-back after Michael Gray impressed in Neill's absence.

Zurab Khizanishvili and Francis Jeffers both face late tests which could mean starts for Stephane Henchoz and Shabani Nonda.

These sides have played each other 10 times in the Premiership and there has never been a draw - both games last season ended in 2-1 wins for the home side.
