Fulham travelled to Finland to face FC Haka for the second leg of their InterToto Cup tie on Sunday.
The first half finished level with no goals dispite Haka having their top scorer available.
After the break Fulham striker Steve Marlet broke the dead lock with a goal in the 47th minute finding himself with just the Keeper to beat.
Jean Tigana will be keen to increase the goal tally so that a trip to Greece in the next round will not be in doubt.
As usual things are never as easy as they should be and in the 67th minute Ristila has equalised for FC Haka
The final result is 1-1 and with the great away goal of Steve Marlet counting double Fulham go through to the next round of the InterToto Cup.
Their opponents in the next round, 20th and 27th July, will be the Greece club Aegaelo .
