Fulham boss Chris Coleman admits he is looking to freshen up his squad before the close of the transfer window.
After a season of mediocrity last term, Coleman is keen to shake things up at Craven Cottage - aware that perhaps some of his players have become a little stale in the capital.
Coleman is confident that the spark provided by new faces would rejuvenate the club and is working his hardest to entice quality recruits before his hands are tied until January - when the window re-opens after its closure on September 1.
Whilst admitting his intent to delve into the transfer market, Coleman is keeping potential targets close to his chest.
''We're working on it and hopefully we can bring in one or two new players - fingers crossed,'' Coleman told Alex Dunn at Sky Sports News. ''I think we've players here who have been here a long time, so maybe they get too familiar with things.
''I've got to make sure players don't feel relaxed and comfortable. I said on Saturday if I had the players at my disposal I would have changed half a dozen. ''It's as simple as that - it was unacceptable - certainly in the first 45 minutes.
''The injection of a couple of new faces would do everyone the world of good. ''I never comment on players at other clubs, I just don't work like that. Other managers are different. I don't, it's as simple as that.''
