FULHAM are offering Oliver Bierhoff £30,000
a week to lead their Premiership campaign.
Craven Cottage boss Jean Tigana wants the AC Milan striker to play alongside
French goal ace Louis Saha.
Bierhoff, 33, admitted he is ready to move to London to revive his World
Cup prospects.
The man who led Germany to glory at Euro 96 fears his international career
will suffer if he remains in Milan.
He said: "If I want to achieve my goal of playing in next year's
finals, I cannot waste my time just sitting on the bench in Milan.
"I've had a £2.4million offer from Fulham and the assurance
of a first-team place.
"I'm very tempted to play in the Premiership and I am giving the
offer serious consideration."
The Italians have already said they will let him leave for a knockdown
£1m.
Brescia, Borussia Dortmund and Galatasaray have shown an interest but
none of them have matched Fulham's offer.
Fulham have already missed out on Czech striker Jan Koller and midfielder
John Arne Riise.
