If Leeds and WBA didn't keep winning we would be happy with how everything is going? It is looking like the only way we will get promoted this season is through the playoffs. if we don't go up all the loan signings will go back to their parent clubs and it will be near impossible to keep hold of Mitro. Our attack next season would look a bit meek. If Eddie Howe fancied a new challenge next season i would be happy to get him in. It didn't work at Burnley but London isn't too far from the south coast.

Bournemouth are in big trouble this season, pretty much a whole first team out injured and haven't gained a point in five games, it could be them this year for the drop. Cant help but rate the man though, promotion from league 2, league 1, championship and kept them in the prem for five seasons

Lee Johnson alternatively, his family support Fulham and he always gets one over us. I dont like sacking managers during the season though so Scotty do your best. If it doesn't work out come May then he should expect the boot

Lots of letters regarding our next manager. Firstly the present one isn't going anywhere. And we always get back to the point who would fancy the job with seemingly all the constraints that go with it ?

Not sure how many times it has to be said, before it sinks in, FFC have an option/ right to buy ALL of the current loanees. FFC will decide who stays and who returns to their parent club. Hope we’ve all got it now. On the subject of Eddie Howe, even if he were to leave Bournemouth, very doubtful, why would he come to a Championship club. He would be in high demand from the top flight clubs. Forget it. Oh, and Mitro will not be going anywhere. Let’s try to be realistic and resist the desire to randomly speculate. It’s a waste of everyone’s time.

Watched the replay of Kabano’s fall in the box multiple times. I can’t see how the referee didn’t give a penalty! The ref was 10 yards away and he was watching Kabano as he made the run. He surely could see the fall didn’t look like a simulation (confirmed by the fact he didn’t get book) and a player ran into his heel! There’s no excuse! The two points lost could be vital at the end of the season!

Not a great fan of VAR, but the standard of refereeing in the Champioship at times borders on the farcical. So would have got a point yesterday!

What about the incident on halftime when Ream got elbowed and downed by their no9 and needed treatment. The ref didn't even go over to Ream to see if he was ok. Their no9 ran off the pitch immediately knowing he could be in big trouble. Yesterday's ref was a total disgrace. He probably supports BC or lives near by.

Badger' 3rd 4th 5th 6th, it's all the same. We won the lottery once recently, it will take a monumentous and faultless effort to win it again. A more experienced manager is not a 100% guarantee, but i would rather take that chance with the change now, rather than the tears of losing through the playoffs. Mitrovic might be happy to stay right now in this moment, but as we know he is only human and humans can be tempted. Don't take it as a given that Mitro will stay if we fail to go up. The saying goes, 'He who snooze's, looze's!!! We should think outside the box, somewhat like Wolves but a little different scenario. If we stay in our comfort zone and play happy ever after, we may well find ourselves on the wrong end of a fairy-tale...

Ok, there is now daylight between us and the top two, on reflection neither of them are any better than us, at the moment the thing that they are doing better than us is SCORING GOALS, we are finding it difficult to find the back of the net. As a example, yesterday we had umpteen goal scoring chances but only managed to convert one of them, with the exception of the Millwall game this has been happening all season, on paper we have a strong scoring team but games are not won on paper, GAMES ARE WON ON THE GREEN GRASS, my advice to Parker is move the ball quicker, get more balls to Mitro and don’t pick that useless baggage we aquired from Spurs in the Sess deal, and try and pick defenders that understand what marking up means, the 2 goals Bristol scored yesterday both scorers were unmarked, no defender within 2 yards and in the 6 yard box this is disgraceful. I can only hope we can improve over the next few games and we can claw back the 2 front runners lead.

Did anyone else see AK came on with an A4 piece of paper from the coaches that he handed to our Captain , one assumes giving a change of tactic for the last ten minutes . Cairney read it then screwed it up and dropped it on the pitch . One of their players picked it up , read it and handed to their captain . Another of out comedy of errors.

No, the message was to inform Tom that he (Parker) had to leave to do his other chauffeuring job for Lady Penelope. Nothing to do with tactics.

Fulham under Parker and Jokanavic play pretty football. This season teams as great as Man City are getting beat by PACE. If Fulham are to progress and maybe get back into the premiership they have to move the ball quicker and get some genuine PACE into the team. Parkers style and to somewhat Peps(Man City) has to change unless they can introduce more PACE. Teams are sitting back and letting them play with the ball in their own half and the hitting them on the counter attack. Man City without Kyle Walker yesterday would have conceived many more than 2. Fulham defence would struggle to catch a bus. The year we were promoted we had Fredericks, Sessegnon. Watching Man Utd, Leicester, Liverpool in the Prem shows the way forward.

Scott has not got the best out of the talented squad we have . Nearly every player is underperforming and we are not gelling as a team . If we do get promoted through the play offs does anyone think he will be a successful premiership manager . Surely we should be looking for an experienced manager now who is able to blend the ingredients available to make a successful team for this season and the next

Agree with Dave, despite being pilloried for suggesting that an automatic promotion was as good as gone, after yesterday’s result. Unless there is a concerted effort to bolster our defence and consider using varied tactics, we will most likely reach the playoffs but not automatic promotion, as there are clearly two better, more consistent, teams than us. ....as for our current squad, I genuinely think the best is yet to come.

Would you fancy us to win play-offs with Bristol and Brentford and Forest in the mix? It was Reading who pipped us a few years ago. We have come down with a bumpy reminder yet again when we start to look good. Scott Parker is a confidence trickster and he lulls us into thinking we are cruising up that table, then we stumble. 3rd place is just the same as 6th place in my opinion. Who wants to go through another painful heartache of a play-off? I personally think now that if we have some shaky results, we might as well go s.it for bust and bring in a more experienced manager. Sorry Parker' i want you to do well, but my emotions are up and then down a few weeks later. My shrink is advising me to support a more consistent team but i love Fulham. Give us a run that gets us into 2nd at the very least, and my blood pressure will stabilize back to normal. If not possible, i hope the Khans swing the hatchet down on a promising but iffy start to management.

Scott and Fulham need to learn fast. You can’t leave games open to poor ref decisions. It is obvious you need to close out games and not leave it to ref decisions. In this division you need to win your home games. This is mid table performance.
Replies
Bristol City not a bad side we are having trouble breaking teams down and leaving ourselves open. But Leeds and WBA have been getting late points all season. The lads fought till the end and the ref was a disgrace
posted by Badger (Guest) - Sunday 08th December 2019, 12:18 PM

I know that there is a long way to go still, but there is little doubt that we are now only playing for a play off place, as both WBA and Leeds are far better than we are and they have made their home fixtures count for picking up points, as between them they have only lost one home game, and that was Leeds at home to Swansea. We have already lost three at home, but strangely only two away from home, which is obviously not good enough. We are supposedly the third best team in the Championship, and unless we really go on a bad run, we should, and I say should, finish in the top six. I am wondering however, if a quick return to the Premier League, would be a very good idea. We have the basis of a Championship title winning team, and waiting for just one more season to do this, might just be worth the wait, as it's quite comforting to be sitting in 3rd place in the table, instead of the bottom three in the Premier League.

I was very impressed by him! He’s been patient and not played any minutes. But in the 15-20mins he played, he completely changed the game and shown perhaps Cavaleiro is a bit over rated. In 20 mins, Kabano created the goal, hit the cross bar and should have had a penalty. He looked dangerous everytime he touched the ball. We need to give some more game time and show Cavaleiro he has competition!! Johansson is my MoM but Kabano would have been if he played more minutes! Well done!

I like kebano..his positive attitude his demeanor...but he is an impact player as has been proved over the years..starting impact players usually ends in fans slagging them off..personally use him for what he is and get players who can make a difference (or we think can) at the start.. Personally..We have Ononmah surplus to requirements..we have MOR as a player we should, use now..give him 30 mins then start him and let him have a few games..Im pretty sure his work rate and quality will be of benefit..good youth players work and we all know he's probably the best around..BTW ask Kebano and others in the first team what they think of him..

To be fair I cannot remember for a long time how on edge I get as soon as an opposing team gets anywhere near our defence. There is not one defender I feel relaxed about who I feel has an element of control. Perhaps Hector will make some difference? By the way we are carrying injuries to Mitro.AK47. Johansen and possibly one or two others. This is partly why we were flat yesterday.

Now is the time to get rid of Parker, he appears to be clueless on tactics team selection and his use of substitutes. Kamara should have been brought on at half time, or even started the game instead of Parker's love child who has been subbed every game he has started and looks to be one of the worst players in my 70 years of supporting this great club.
Now is the final chance to get in a manager who can utilise this squad of players with a chance of getting automatic promotion.
Replies
Totally agree with aforementioned statement,Parker is a one trick pony,as a club with one of the best squads in the championship we are certainly not performing,we need a manager who has served his time, one who has plans A B C D in his repertoire and not a first year apprentice. i like many others have been banging on about Rodek and what a revelation he has been, we have another, Matt o,Reilly who has been bench warming for the last 4 games without one minutes game time, playoffs very doubtful under this regime.

Can’t believe every time we put in a poor performance or lose its all point the finger at Parker, still 3rd big game on Tuesday and when you look at the big picture, can you imagine getting to the premier league with our 3 sided ground? What sort of players would we attract? 2 seasons in the championship get some stability if Parker isn’t the right man (unclear at the moment) its not his team yet, couple of signings bit of quality and a bit of youth and the 2 year plan can become a reality! Look at the table! Not far away!

Ok I get we shouldn’t panic we are 3rd in the table but we wanted Parker to give us a run of winning games leading into the new year to give us a good platform for automatic promotion and not the gamble of the playoffs. WBA and Leeds are creating a gap and from what I watched again at the Cottage yesterday we will not close that gap. Same problems persist but yesterday we had a lethargy which was frustrating and compounded by Parker’s after match comments. If automatic promotion is the prospect we have to be much better, can we do this with Parker? We have three massive games ahead of us that will give us the answer. Lee Johnson did a job on us again and it would be interesting to see what he could do with our squad of players.

Parker was involved in the signing of Onomah , that can be the only reason he has had so many minutes on the pitch this season . He brings nothing to the team . AK should have replaced him at half time at the very least . Parker is being shown up as tactically naive by all of the top five managers . This squad are desperately underachieving on the number of points dropped and the quality of our football .

Why put out that team selection in a game like this! Since Kamara made his debut back at QPR, we had a different outlook and addition to our game. Mitro was suspended at QPR so fair enough Parker we give Kamara a try. It worked great, and still at the Cottage against a dangerous Derby, he does the intelligent thing and plays Kamara up with Mitro, brilliant, tick that one off! Kamara featured last week and okay, he doesn't do a lot against Swansea, but he did just enough to justify selection by crashing one off the bar for Mitrovic to head in. Kamara got Parker out of jail again. I knew we would lose this one starting slow, like i knew dunce Parker would put his get out of jail card on, but far too late this time. Bristol did their home-work and fair enough, they will waste time seeing the game out. We do that sometimes by the way so no complaints there! Knockheart is starting to become irritating and a liability and Cavalerio just doesn't do enough to make things happen, thats why Nuno planted him here by the looks of it. I will say this once about Ryan Sessegnon, we should enquire about bringing the boy wonder back on loan in January. Forget what some of those idiots we call fans say about him. Sessegnon, 'DOES MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!!!! SEND THOSE 2 PILLOCKS BACK WHERE THEY CAME FROM!!!! They don't do enough at Fulham, nuff said!!!!!!
Replies
Sometimes I wonder how we get some of these players....don't we have scouts out looking at them before we buy or bring them in on loan to see how they will fit etc....perhaps we should be looking to recruit some half descent scouts in the the first instance.

You would have thought, by some of these comments, that the season finished today, and that we were near the bottom of the table. I have just looked and despite today's loss, we are still sitting 3rd in the table, with 35 points, which is a far better position than we were two seasons ago, when we reached Wembley. It might be an omen, but we lost 0-2 at home to Bristol City that season as well. In fact they always seem to beat us at CC. However saying that, what an awful decision by the referee not to award us a penalty near the end. It was a blatant foul, and it should have been given. We are still well in touch with the top 2, and unless we really go off of the boil, a play off place is almost a given, and I quite fancy going to Wembley for another great day out.

When defending corner kicks it has always surprised me FFC have everyone in the box defending . Someone small and fast who can hang on to the ball should be in the centre circle this will drag more opposition players out of the box to cover him and also put us immediately on the offensive if the ball is punted upfield . I’m thinking about Cavaleiro and Knockheart after all they are unlikely to help defensively in the air . Small point maybe but been bugging me for ages ! Coyw’s today against BC always difficult to play against .

This will be a great game to watch for the neutrals and i hope it goes our way. We are potent in attack and we will get loads of chances and i just hope we take most of them. Bristol will have their moments too for sure, and they are coming of a 5-2 win to Huddersfield, that tells us everything we need to know. I just hope that Rodak clears that ball sooner and quicker by giving it the big boot upfield because we should have the assistance of 'The Brahma Bull' AK-47 Kamara!!! All quick throws and kicks will be greatly welcomed by Mitrovic also. Contrary to what some experts think, Kamara is another ace we have and should put on the table from the start. The QPR game we had no choice but to chuck him in the deep end, and it paid dividends for Scott Parker. I was hoping Parker would play him along up with Mitrovic against Derby and i got my wish. Kamara wasn't fully loaded with bullets that night because of a slight injury and maybe a little fatigue from playing 90 minutes which he isn't used too. I think now he should be up to speed and along with Mitro to keep their defenders busy, we should have a a fruitfull and joyous night full with goals from sant's sack. Okay' we have a fragile defence and nowt we can do about that for now, so expect a few hearts in the mouth moments and maybe the odd goal or two from Bristol City. With the services of our talisman Mitrovic and the 'Brahma Bull-AK-47' minus the punch-ups and the Peoples Elbow', we should come away the winners and send Bristol City back up to Ashton Gate sharpish. COME ON YE FULHAM!!! P.S, do i think Arizonan is stirring with excitement in the nuptuals? 'Yeh' this is Fulham, and i guess he got the AK-47 shirt!!!

The Prince of Wales, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew are in damage limitation mode and partaking in a televised discussion on morals moderated by the Archbishop of Canterbury (whom God preserve). Testing the limits of royal morality, the Archbishop asked the future king whether he would condone having sex with, for instance, a fourteen year old. Absolutely not, said Charles, that's underage by the law of the land and contradictory to the teachings of the New Testamnemt. I couldn't condone such behaviour. And you Andrew, said the Archbishop, would you engage in sexual activity with a fourteen year old? As my brother said, Andrew replied, such an act is illegal and runs contra to Christian teachings and beliefs. I would not partake in such an act. Turning to Prince Andrew, the Archbishop mused as to whether the Prince himself would consider having a sexual relationship with a fourteen year old. Hmmm, said Andrew, a fourteen year old what?

I am not saying that we can keep up a pace-high tempo for 90 minutes by a long chalk, but we sure can add more injection of pace through being clever and astute. We can use our pace within our team in both halves, we can be cute. Our obvious pacier guy is Kamara who is showing his importance to this Fulham team, Kamara could figure from the start. Saying that, 90 minutes will be impossible for Kamara to keep up, and he will probably be substituted at some point. It could be a lively Derby game between us 2 teams and Bristol will have their chances for sure. I suggest we hold back Cavaliero and bring him on at half-time to raid and run amock down that left side, Cavaleiro seems more effective on 45 minutes in my opinion. If we can hold a nice lead going into the 2nd half? The services of big Mac for Johansen might be a good choice to close out this Derby game. Not sure if mad Harry is ready for this battle? We sure can do with his dogged tenacity and experience for this game...

I am one of Parkers biggest critics, but if he can keep this tempo and quality play up against Bristol and Brentford and we win these, my xmas presents are complete happy days!!! I am obviously excited because Kamara who i rate is getting more game-time now, and our team is cooking with rocket fuel. Is it just me who can feel it???

Perhaps sorporific is a better word than boring. Sleep inducing other than the adrenaline rush of fear when the opposition charge forward with the ball. Parker is assured his position, and I don't have a problem with that, but all the keep-ball in the world doesn't equate to class football. All the wonderful cameo players touted as God's answer to dull football - how many goals have they scored? If you take Mitrovic out of the equation what are you left with? FA, and I don't mean the Football Association.

It takes time Arizonan' agree Cavaleiro, Knockheart, Reid, etc should be chipping in with a few more goals, we have improvement to come yet. Knockheart is frustrated at his lack of goals and we can see that judging from his expression. The more he tries, the harder it is for him. It doesn't mean that he is not effective or doing a job. The more he dribbles up the pitch is the more the clock runs down lately when we are winning. A lot of experts and pundits think we are wonderful and think we are the dogs B.ll..cks in this league. Arizonian, you must have fell off that rodeo horse and banged your head on a cows Back=s..e too many times and counted to 9 instead of 10, surely you can see some improvement? We are deemed good enough to do well and get out of this league. It is a whole different ball-game and headaches if we get to the prem. Scott Parker who is no different from Man-utd's rookie Soltsjar will need to improve on his management skills again. A step up to prem might mean a more experienced manager might be needed. Hey' Rome wasn't built in a day and where is that blighter MST? This guy might have been captured by some tree people in the Dean Forest or something. Come to think of it' since he has depaterted, you seem to have lost your mo-jo and talk more jibberish these days. You need to send for a Fulham shirt with 'AK-47' written on it and wear it at those rodeo shows you frequent. It sure would cheer you up. AK-47 Kamara is the man Arizonan' Say it a few times before bedtime and i am sure the belief will come back. COME ON FULHAM!!!!!!!

I know i can repeat myself unnecessarily on here sometimes, and on this occasion, it is a pleasure to mention 'PACE'. My same old rubbish was the order of the day against a wise and crafty Lee Johnson of Bristol City, who had us 'Sussed'!!! Kamara was the key player to start the game and it looks like a rejuvenated Neskins Kabano is ready for a start in the next game. Make that 2 difficult away games Preston and a stonker against Brentford. Leeds after that won't care what tactics we go for because they come with their own game-plan. Bielsa is a top manager and he will react to whatever situation confronts him. I think Scott Parker over-thinks situations too much and there are still some details to learn about management proper. We can't always start fast and maintain a quick tempo, so Parker will need to implement his management skills and pay more attention to our midfield more often. Tom Cairney will need to step up his none existant leadership role and take more responsibility. Cairney needs to adapt to different games and dynamics each week. We don't get games that go our way like the Derby County game too often. Maybe Harry Arter is needed asap to save our season because a difficult period is about to begin...

We are undoubtedly in a good position at this point in time, but thinking of the future we defensibly and mid field have an ageing squad. Odi 31, Reem 32, Marchand 30, Mc Donald 31, Arter 30. It appears we have shown interest in Flyn Downes of Ipswitch at 20 possibly if the price is right a good acquisition an of course their is our own Matt O R who like Rodek I have been singing his praises for some while, but as yet not been given any game time, bench sitting is not doing anything for his career,so in the Jan window I would like to see him loaned out for the rest of season to a champ/or lge 1 side where we would have a better chance to analyse his ability. In our run in A full back is a must, If we are unsuccessful in the Jan window, a Loan back for SESS could be the answer with the understanding he defends and is not a flying winger, Any other players who may benefit us in the Jan window come to mind.

MOR is way better than Onomah and listening to a couple of U23 coaches they sont undersatand why je is ahead of Matt...He wont go on loan as he's the kind of player who will benefit from playing up not dowm IMO..so unless a premiership club wants him on loan it wont happen... he is better than all but possibly Cairney in midfield so we either play him or he leaves..No player who goes on loan ever plays for our first team (Except keepers).. Insane that he isnt already a regular..will probably sign abroad in Jan if he doesnt see an opportunity here

Have a heart Jezza, he's only a kid and he did great for us. Some memorable games and one of his best was up at Newcastle. Sessegnon scored a brace and it could have been a hattrick. The hattrick would have been a memorable record in Fulhams history. Sessegnon might have stayed if intelligent people and someone with more insight might have organised a loan deal. Cavaleiro looks better on that side but he does not have the goal ratio that Ryan Sess does for us, and he played left-back half the time here...

I think that.is so tough Jezza, I admit that I think the same of most players who leave but with Ryan I wish him all the best, I’m not Sure why, maybe he was just what we needed and from our own ranks. Although I wish Ryan success I do not think he will get it at Tottenham, they seem such a cut throat bunch.

What a shock. I got a bit starstruck back in Summer, when I spotted him in a local pub in Kingston. It was the same day as Ben Stokes took that incredible catch at The Oval, and I was going to ask Bob if he'd ever taken a catch like that (hopefully he'd have told me to F off!!). And I recall commenting to my dining companions on the night that he looked in terrific nick. RIP.

The way both WBA and Leeds are playing, and the luck that they are having, it looks like we are only playing for a top 6 spot and maybe another game at Wembley. What a pity that we have thrown so many points away this season, against Barnsley, Middlesboro, Stoke, Sheffield Wed, Cardiff and even WBA. We should be riding high at the top, but it now seems that we have already blown our chances of a top 2 finish.

Why we blame the club? Get the facts correct and don’t use cheap reasoning. Don’t know if Club tried to keep Chambers but it wasn’t up to the club and the fact he started for Arsenal this season suggested they wanted him back. Who are we to compete! Who the hell willock?? Unless he played for our u15 - don’t recall him being a Fulham player! So let’s be clear who is the mug!

They have three of the fastest front players in the league and could cause our fragile defence serious problems. Let us be prepared because they can be extremely good.
