If you are on the Waterloo to Windsor line expect class 456s. If to Hounslow via Kew bridge then expect 707s . I have no other info except that the 707s are to be replaced soon. Portsmouth row will have 442s I know I'm shocked too. Refurbished but look nice

Why is that teams like Brentford, who never seem to get anywhere themselves always seem to stop other teams in their tracks when going for promotion. Last season they ruined our chances of automatic promotion, and it looks like they have done the same thing to Leeds tonight. Without playing at all well themselves, they have put a real spike in Leeds promotion bid. I agree with another poster on the site, that the Leeds Manager could not speak English, and would therefore, as others suggest, not be a viable choice for our manager. At least Scotty speaks plain and simple English, that the players can understand, and he will be my choice for what it's worth.
Replies
Thanks to Brentfrod we had a great day out at Wembley and they needed to beat us to have any chance of play offs so in hindsite it was us who stuffed them up

I never really understood Slavisa that much and he clicked with us.Solstjar at UTD is getting into a pickle now he has secured the job full-time. Scotty will most likely be in that position and the pressure will ramp up. If Scott Parker fails? Bielsa would be a good choice for Fulham in my opinion. Just like Slavisa, he needs a plan 'Z' I am not sure if these sort of managers get 2nd chances?

Not about criticising Brentford it just shows that Leeds aren’t up to it,defeat at home to Sheffield United,Wigan and defeat to Brentford think they’ve bottled it,going into the play offs after being favourites to go up automatically don’t fancy there chances.

Unfortunately there are a lot of clubs like Brentford in the Championship, that are nothing special normally, but can rise to the occasion several times during the season, and if it's our club that they raise their game too, we could be in trouble. I know that a lot of us think that we are going to storm through the Championship next season, but I am beginning to have my doubts. While I fully expect to be in the top half of the table, I don't think that we are going to find it an easy ride, as other teams will want to beat us, as we have just been a Premier League team and their supporters will want to put one over us. Cardiff and Huddersfield will find the going hard as well. With possibly Leeds, WBA and maybe even Villa still there as well, nothing should be taken for granted, and we will most definitely have to strengthen in the summer if we are going to do well, COYW

Your right Alan B it won’t be easy it’s a tough league with some good sides.nothing comes easy that attitude could get us relagated players and staff will have to work hard with fans behind them all the way. Some fault we would be top halve of Premiership before season started live in hope but never count your chickens

We need an experienced manager to lead us next season - Johnson from Bristol would be my choice. We can’t afford a mess up at the start of next season.
Replies
What more experience do you want. We have at the moment, a manager who has managed in the Premier League, under the most difficult of circumstances, and has come through with flying colours. No more chopping and changing please, so at least give Scotty a good run up until Christmas, and then see where we are then. Obviously the players like him, and have settled down to a winning combination, with what appears to be a good team spirit. To change again would be downright madness.

And yes you need to change things until you get it right, no point in keeping something that is not going to work but agree they have to be given support from owner to succeed

Jokas, why not change the manager every other month until we get it right. Parker seems to have accumulated a good back up team as well, so are you going to keep changing them too. Are you thinking straight, or has the sun got to you ?
posted by A C (Guest) - Monday 22nd April 2019, 4:28 PM

AC owner giving support - means appointing the right person, giving resources to succeed, empowerment and giving time - of course you don’t want to change every month! But conversely if you do that and it doesn’t work get rid. And we must not forget Parker is only caretaker.

Parker could be a good manager but am not sure he’s ready for the ups and downs of the championship. Look at Solskjaer- we can’t make him a manager based on a few results. He’s doing a good job but experienced manager is what is required to win promotion! Johnson of Bristol city would be a good call. As is Leeds manager.

Just watched the first half of Brentford against Leeds, and although a bit scrappy, it just shows you just how hard that the Championship is to get out of. Leeds are flying high, and Brentford are nothing but ordinary, but they are one up at HT. Saying that the referee must have been blind not to have awarded Leeds one of the most blatant penalties that you will ever see. If Leeds fail in their bid for promotion, if we are still looking for a new Manager to take over, the Leeds chap, I have forgotten his name, could be a good bet.

Just watching the post-match interview with Bielsa on Sky. He doesn't speak English, needs a translator. How does that work day to day with players?

Bielsa is still a better choice than Lennon from the pretend league. His style of management would suit us to the ground. Scotty must have his chance first now though. For how long is up for debate. Maybe for as long as Soltsjar at Utd? A lot longer, and maybe up until Xmas. I can't see Soltsjar lasting that long now. As soon as there is a full-time stamp on it, everything changes.

So he thinks it was fair for Morrison to wrap his arms around Salah for about 3 seconds in the penalty box! Cardiff test the professionalism limits every game - fair play to them as that was the only way they managed to get 31points - probably 30 more than the team he has deserved. But don’t go crying when someone else test the limits of fairness! I can’t wait for next weekend - for once, Cardiff won’t be just defending as a point will not be enough for them!

I quite like Warnock, yes course he's a wind up merchant, but I'd certainly like to be sitting behind the dug out on Saturday, instead of a couple of blocks further along. Obviously Cardiff will be desperate for the win, but as we'll be looking to extend our unbeaten run to, er, three, no way are we going to make it easy for them. Could get spiky.

I find it quite surreal that suddenly there are smiles, everyone thinking we’ll bounce back simply by winning 2 games which are totally immaterial remember relegation in the most humiliating way. The pressure was off after losing to Watford and the games remaining mean little as those times exception Cardiff are looking forward to their holidays. Scott Parker is a great person but come on no experience at top level, shown by 5 losses on the trot and people are quick to forget. Until Tony Khan goes and Mckintosh things will never change similar if we win every remaining game it proves absolutely nothing as many players will disappear hopefully and we start all over . The players should have been committed prior to the last 2 games in every respect but that was clearly missing and I hope a proper strategy is developed for future.
Replies
Why shouldn't we smile, don't agree they were meaningless games. Ok the pressure was off but most pundits agree we look a much better side and for goodness sake let's give credit to all concerned.

Agree with most of what you said not sure replacing our owners would make much difference. I believe we will get back to the premier league but not for a couple of seasons at least. Get rid of the players that are on the gravy train keep the ones who care(not many of them)as for Scott Parker we have nothing to lose you’ll see a massive change of players if he’s hungry enough we’ll get there.

SP has impressed me by the way he has reformed our squad in the likes of Roy, so that every player knows what's expected of them, and has them playing with a purpose. While I'm not getting over-enthusiatic given the EPL pressure is off, I feel he should be given a chance to weld a new team -there will be new recruits and leavers - for next season.
Replies
A little early for a Roy comparison after just two clean sheets, but signs are encouraging. Not sure about the wisdom of playing Fosu-Mensah before he got hurt, and I still think Sess belongs on the left - not the right where SP has him. Overall, though, I agree - the organization and cohesion seems much better.

I have real concerns taking any of the current results too seriously especially when picking our next manager. Without the pressure of having to perform and with players now trying to attract attention from other top flight clubs we have a few wins against clubs that are now basically done for the season. Really think the managerial decision needs to be more strategic. This includes having managed in the division and someone experienced at rebuilding a team (given expected departures)ie like Slav who got us up. This is not trying to be critical of SP but is just fact he has not done this before so it is a huge punt appointing. I really want to avoid the 18-24 months lost like last time with Kit Symonds our last caretaker manager.
posted by GB (Guest) - Monday 22nd April 2019, 10:18 AM

GB I disagree. You’re advocating chopping and changing yet again. The new manager will come in just like Rainari and want to change the players, the system and so we will fail again. We need stability. We have a young bright manager at the helm. Give him a good chance to show what he can do. We’re going to lose a lot of players. If we lose the manager as well who knows what will happen. Let’s not walk down the road I’ve just been down again. They show loyalty and maybe we will get the returns that policy generates. Remember Man United kept Ferguson on for four seasons before he succeeded, success is not instant it takes time. Roy was an exceptional manager a look where he took us with some time. Give Scotty a chance and some time.
posted by Phil (Guest) - Monday 22nd April 2019, 10:24 AM

Phil I get the point on stability but name one example where an inexperienced caretaker has succeeded on a long term basis. I think we need to take our pain get a profile experienced manager who can also attract decent players. If that person isn’t available then SP may well be the answer but definitely comes at a lower probability both of success and the longevity that we need.

TK might be a well-meaning amateur and to give him credit, probably wants us to do well. In other words he's like a little kid with new toys.

He’s wasted £100 million of his Dad’s money and he is self-made and doesn’t like throwing it away. I imagine there are some interesting conversations over dinner. Our recruitment policy is obviously a busted flush. Just look at the players we signed. We all know that. What was really depressing was that the statistics used did not pick up that the keepers we signed last summer did not speak English and so couldn’t play for us until they had learnt how to communicate with defenders. Stats on running and goals are only a part of the picture as khan found out with Kamara. I would hope the circumstances in which the mad American money ball guy left the club has put khan off dealing with such idiots. Let Scotty Parker pick the players with a director of football. Khan needs to step aside and be the vice chairman not the assistant manager.

With Cardiff losing to Liverpool in an not unexpected result, they will now need to win at least two of their matches to survive. It was reported on radio 5 Live sport, that they will pick up 3 points against Fulham on Saturday to help them. All good friends...LTS, I hope you dont mind me using your post to clarify that maybe I have not put across in a clear manner my opinion.I love it if we beat peabrook united or any ther team at any level. Im delighted we beat everton and Bournemouth but these victories should not overshadow that our season has been catastrophic and the bitternesss towards the Khans should not now suddenly evaporate. Most posts since the everton match have become optimistic which is fine, but i am much more concerned about the clubs immediate future and rebuilding. This has yet to start, so assuming that we may jump straight back to PL could be quite a lucrative bet at this moment.I will always go along with whatever is best for the club and irrespective of whoever may be the owner, the fans will always be above as our faith is unconditional and comes from the heart, not from the pot.

Spot on Mike, overpaid journeymen players with no interest in Fulham Football Club, that is what you buy when you have a team based on loan players who come today and are gone tomorrow. I am sorry that I cannot concur on Mr Ranieri, he is the Head Coach of AC Milan and their results speak for themselves. At Craven Cottage he inherited a losing side which had no heart (see above. I say stick with Stuart Parker next season, better the devil you know and perhaps he can do as well as Chris Coleman did after becoming manager when he hung his boots up!

But I did predict that our club would come away with a victory over AFC Bournemouth. So I can quite honestly say I told you so! Not that many of you lot of so called fans supported my view. The result against Wolves on 4 May will prove if our side is better than Brighton HA which I said they are and have always been. Brighton HA is Glen Murray and Lewis Dunk, both who FFC previously tried to sign and that's about it.Surely we can beat Cardiff at the Cottage. Their season went all wrong when they denied they had signed Emillo Sala from Nantes. That is typical of their owner Vincent Chan because what was the player doing half way across the Channel in a light aircraft heading for South Wales if he had not already signed? Not sorry to say that this will probably be the last we will see of Neil Warnock in the Premiership, as he is one of the most irritating managers of all time, there is always something wrong with the Ref's decisions if they go against his teams and he is himself a qualified Ref and should be chucked out of their Union /Association. COME ON FULHAM we know you can do it! At least we will not now have the unwanted title of going a whole season not having won away! GREAT PLAY TODAY

We were not quite ready for the prem, but now we are. Sadly all too late, but never mind. I am hoping that we can hold on to the core of our team back in the Championships. No doubt there will be offers to buy our best, but let's hope our Chairman is reluctant to sell and keep paying those big wages. Khan can afford it and hopefully, he still has ambitions as high as his NFL pursuits.

Dead right Chris.. 200 plus minutes without conceding, two wins on the trot. Brilliant ..love it. Everyone of us at the last two games had a big smile on their face because it felt so good Why bring us down with all this “useless exercise” stuff. I’m so looking forward to taking up my seat this Saturday, and if we p*ss on Cardiff’s strawberries, it will feel like a very useful exercise indeed!

A bit of luck the last two matches as other teams haven’t put away opportunities, BUT the bigger change is the lack of careless giveaways in midfield and defense. We shot ourselves in the foot so many times, and things seemed to have tightened up under Parker. Dark comedy to see two clean sheets following relegation, but at least the players are still putting forth effort. Rico was MOTM. This is what I thought this year would be for us. The talent and skill wasn’t that far off this level, it was fight and cohesion and individual mistakes.

I didn’t see who was playing today but if it was Anguissa, Seri and co then ‘shop window ‘ definitely springs to mind! They’ve been pretty hopeless all season and now in the run down they’re setting out their stall. It could also be the Parker effect and he’s managing to get something out of this team. Who knows.

I'd say Anguissa, despite a poor turnover late, looks much better since coming back from injury. Seri had a good day, but I still think we should sell him. Both players are too slow moving the ball, taking extra touches and not quite playing our style.

Absolute rubbish, all the more reason not to give Parker the job. Two dead rubber wins and he is the messiah! How about the pathetic, gutless and inept games before these that sealed our fate. Blokes a looser.

Oh if only, the Khan's had appointed Scott Parker earlier, we wouldn't be facing relegation now, as we have now started to play the way that we should have been playing all season. Two wins on the trot, two clean sheets, and our first away win of the season. We have every chance now of winning our last 4 matches, and we can really look forwards to storming trough to the title next season. I am willing to swap a winning side next season, than a Premier League struggling outfit. It's only for one season anyway, so I can live with that.

Incredible Mo you take no prisoners! Our first away win of the season, won our previous game at home and it’s the first time we’ve played well as a team all season thanks to Parker, and he’s rubbish! You’ll be saying next bring back Magath!

So called fans like you Mo, tend to make me sick. There was not a manager, or coach in the world who would have gleaned many, if any points out of Scott's first 7 matches, which included away games against West Ham, Southampton, Leicester and Watford, and home games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. Even then, we were dead unlucky against both Chelsea and Liverpool, and gave Manchester City a run for their money. In my opinion, for what it's worth, I think that Scott has done a marvellous job, in sorting the squad out, and getting us playing well and beating an in form Everton, and a Bournemouth team that had just put 5 goals passed Brighton. If you are not happy with those results, Mo, then go and support Brentford, and the ten see what bad football is all about. You will probably moan your head off next season when we only win the Championship by 5 or 6 points, complaining that it should have been more. This season Mo, was a blip, from which we are already about to recover COYW

It's hard for us ex pats, but as this will probably be the last rain we have until October, I'll just have to put with it.

I have reservation! What is it about Fulham? We went French and got it all wrong now we think anyone capable of managing a Scottish team is good enough for the championship!? Both Clark and Lennon failed in England. Leeds are falling apart again - we shoudl go for their manager! He has said he would leave if they are not promoted.
Replies
Let's hope Celtic give Lennon the job up there full-time because we don't want him or need him. I would rather keep Parker on full-time. Lennon couldn't cut it at Leicester in the Championships. These Khans are starting to worry me a lot more, what are they thinking? What's wrong with Laudrup? Bielsa from Leeds is a good shout, i like his way of playing football. Bielsa needs to take a team to the next level and if he fluffs it at Leeds, we could give him a try at ours. I still think that Slavisa could do a job for us 2nd time around, and if he was appointed again by those daft Khans, i could accept that decision. Slavisa deserves another chance at Fulham and he should be able to pick his own team if possible...

Ive also heard that Ellit has no intention of staying..his old agent was USM but apparently he's looking at others and can go abroad for under £100k.. so playing poker with Academy and they have pushed him onto Parker..Parker it appears is doing what he's told so he can get the job. I would say apart from O'Riley he's the best Ive seen of the youth set up (maybe Opuko too). What is clear and is common knowledge in the our scouting network is O'Riley is the class player in a weak youth set up at FFC ..anf thats includes Sessgenon. Its also common knowledge he is not being played for non football reasons as certain people at the club want him out. Fossey is loved so would expect him to play soon but most internally agree the only one who actually merits a chance is O'Riley..although rumour is he's off to Europe if they dont offer him a contract..

Not mobile enough? You must be watching a different O'Riley.. We have watched him every game he's played this season. He has covered more ground inn EVERY game apart from 2 (27 games) than any other FFC player..thats one thing..secondly we rate all players (we are an agency Im an FFC fan) per match. Its based on lots of things includong forward passes in his case, assists, chaces created key passes etc.. He has been clear top rated player (MOTM) in the following.. Man Utd (home and away) Norwich away Wolves (home and away) Colchester cup (home and away) Leeds cup (away)NUFC (away). He has been in top 3 in every game apart from one. All the people including myself watch as well as use stats. Has more assists than anyone else .. Best passing percentage chances created etc etc..Is top for chances created and key passes across both 2 divisions..and those are impritant stats..I could go on and on..the crime is his face doesnt fit I believe he dumped his last agent who happens to be Parkers. And didn't sign with another that Club officials are friendly with..lots will say thats drivel but when you speak to peole at the club..nearly everyone thinks he should have been in the squad from the beginning of season (oh and if you look at the preseason games and Murcia games for first team he was in top 3 in all of them) If you speak to first team playres ((I have) they think he is premiership class and above..Oh and last season he played large parts apparently with growth injury in his back..Personally it shows how seedy this club is..Hopefully he will get a shot but from what ive seen if FFC wont offer him a contract he'll be off in next 12 months if not sooner..

Agree with everything above from SW and also I believe Kunye to be right..Slav had him in first team all the time training etc..He would have played him (He did have him on bench for Millwall I believe)..PArker has self interest first. Elliot is not deserving of the place (not that he isnt good) but FFC want money for him when he leaves in summer and therefore tribunal value will be higher Steve Sess absolutely doesnt warrant a place if its based on performance as he's been average at best for 23's but he's a Sessegnon. I would say almost everyone agrees O'Reilley has been the best 23 by far this season..

O.K. Eddie Howe has got AFC Bournemouth winning again, but against Brighton HA, where is Lewis Dunk now I ask, because Brighton HA are on the ropes worse than we ever were right now. Sooo our lads should not worry too much about their recent victory because AFC Bournemouth too had lost the previous nine games B4 Brighton! COME ON FULHAM. Glad to see that someone in Management read my post some time back and seem to be on the trail of Dwight Gayle. Good lad done well this season, we would have used him. Tammy Abraham is out of the reckoning, as he has plumbed for going off to Deutschland like so many other half decent "English ?" players. Is Timmy Abraham still at Fulham or Jose Morineo's lad who plays in goal.

It doesn't take a lot of figuring out or explaining, and deep down in most Fulham fans guts, we know we have squandered our chances for prem football next season. Yes' every time we look at the league table, it clearly points out that we are 2nd from bottom and we are relegated. Call me nuts' and a dreamer or whatever, but i still believe that we are better than we have shown this season. Our recruitment was naively sticky-plastered together and costly too, with the likes of Anguissa costing 30 million and breaking our transfer record. Yes' at first glance, i and a lot of fans thought we had acquired a War- Horse or the equivalent of buying a stake in Shergar. Emotions turned to anger and disappointment running through most of our season when game after game we witness total failure in our team to get results. The likes of our talisman Tom Cairney passing the ball from side to side, Tom no clue, Tom not prem material and so on. Seri the best of the newbies some say not up to it in the prem, even though he has played successfully for Ivory Coast, Porto and Nice, yet not prem class according to self-appointed experts. Why can't we figure out and accept a feasable possibility that we just didn't gel enough and considering our sticking plaster attempt to buy in a short time and add well thought of players onto a team that gained promotion as a unit just didn't work out in good time. Leicester and Wolves are in 7th and 8th and Everton in 9th? Hey' i might be the biggest dreamer along with 'Somewhere over the Rainbow, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that 'Everton' have failed in their season and massively underachieved way down their usual standards. Even Liverpool fans will say that. We beat Everton good and proper and some say that it was not a big deal etc. Even a long way before the Everton win, i and a lot of Fans were scratching their heads and trying to work out why we were playing silly football. Confidence is is a big detail that we are lack of this season and there is a lot of finding out concerning our leaky defence. We are dropping down a division and there should not really be an urgency to change much personnel. It was a mistake to blood in too many players at the first time of trying and i think now finally this Fulham team looks like it is settling down and gelling, why go-go spend money now we are dropping down. Possibely we will need right-back if Christie isn't up to it, and defensively we are shakey but nothing new. I would like to see us improve with Mawson and the new foreign guy come back from injury. Still call me daft or silly, but i think that we Fulham put ourselves in a situation and an impossible position of self-destruction. We are better than the likes of Cardiff etc and we know it, yet the league table says different...

Paying £800 for a season ticket and watching us getting battered every game vs paying £400 (hopefully!) and watching more competitive football. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise.

I used a friends season ticket last night and went to see Brighton play Cardiff, and I can in part, back Owen up, inasmuch as compared with these two teams, on last nights showing we are miles ahead of both of them, based on last Saturday's display. Brighton are a shadow of the team that we beat at CC, and as for Cardiff, well yes they did score one good goal, and one by very bad marking by Brighton, but otherwise they looked very ordinary. According to some of the Brighton fans they should have had a penalty for handball early on, but it was up the other end to me, and I didn't see it,but I am sure that we will put paid to Cardiff's Premier League visit, when we beat them in our next home game, and that will prove that we will have more chance of a quick return to the top, than Colin and his poor outfit next season. Reckon that the game against Bournemouth will tell us if the result against Everton was a one off or have we finally turned the corner, a draw would be a decent result.

I think that I read recently on this site, that AC will at least be watching Premier League football next season, as he will go to Brighton to watch it. That could be doubtful now AC, although quite honestly I don't think that Cardiff have any chance of staying up. I must agree that over the season Cardiff have proved to be better fighters for points than us, but now that Scotty has taken over, we have improved in leaps and bounds, and we are at this moment, a far better team than either Cardiff or Brighton, at least at home. I will be going to Bournemouth on Saturday, so I will see for myself what our away form is like. COYW

May I respectfully point out, the league is not a cup competition. The best teams are those that consistently beat other teams each week over the duration of a season. A team, doubtless, can perform above expectations on a given day and go against perceived wisdom/form. Hence, the uniqueness that is the FA Cup. This does not make them a better team. Unfortunately, Fulham FC have been consistent in one aspect alone, their ability to leak goals, and inability to score them. On our overall performance this season, we are justifiably relegated. We are not a better team than Everton, albeit we did beat on Saturday, when we were better , I doubt we would beat them were we to play them tomorrow. Every team that finishes above us, is better than us, would it were different, but it isn’t, get over it and pray our abysmal management can get there act together.

Premier league is so competitive now we have got what we deserved. We have to compete for every ball and minimise the mistakes or you get done and this season we have had no settled team and some players have not been on it for the full 90 minutes. At least next season we can look forward to competing for 90 minutes which should at the very least give us a chance in matches, whichever players are with us next season. Learn from our mistakes and have another go

Cardiff winning 2-0 by the way (another game that's not a draw - at the moment) which puts Brighton right back in the mix and giving us the chance to relegate Cardiff.

Did anybody else notice that Tom Cairney played with a much more aggressive style on Saturday? He was more like Johansen as he hassled players and had a few significant tackles in the process. I'd like to think it's a new side of him emerging. Skeptics sat beside me at the match said he's trying to put himself in the shop window for a transfer to another club. I hope he stays.

Owen you do write some nonsense sometimes. He has had one "half" decent game where he scored (his first goal of the season!!), wasn't knocked off the ball too easily and didn't spend half the game rolling around the floor feining agony. Cairney, in my opinion, is not and will never be much more than a decent Championship player and he certainly is not Premier League material.

I even dropped in a quote ' Self-appointed experts' in my top post which was more than a history lesson? For the record, i am also a self-appointed expert on here, we all are to an extent, we all have strong opinions about our team. It is a pointless exercise to go through past quotes on what is said in the heat of the moment on here, especially this season. I like Joe Bryan, but sometimes this season, he has done some daft defending and i have slated the guy. Football gets you like that. I didn't particularly want Parker in charge, but he is surprising me and keep it up, we should back him...

Oh what a change it is to be able to read the papers over then weekend and today, with absolute delight of not only a Fulham win, but praise all around from everyone. How I have missed this type of weekend this season. Even more exiting, is now reading that our players like Tom Cairney, will be committed to staying with us next season, to give it another shot. Yes, there is talk of Mitro leaving, but he has signed a long term contract, so unless some colossal amount is offered, which we couldn't afford to turn down, he should be staying. We will need a couple of new players to freshen the squad up so with real determination to go for it, encouraging some really good players should not prove difficult. Newcastle made a quick return a couple of seasons ago, so why shouldn't we ?

Khan will be secretly smiling. Players like Anguissa cost the money and it now looks like some of ours needed more time to bed in. If we keep our squad together? We won't spend much next season. Arguably, a right back is needed? Joe Bryan looks like he can improve even further. It is not a bad thing to have late bloomers, it hurts a little bit because we got relegated. If we are able to keep Mitrovic, he will be a nightmare playing against him. All we need now is a pacy forward up front, and i hope Parker makes good use of our youngsters like O' Reilly... Ease back on the spending next season will see us in good stead financially and that is important for small clubs like ours in the long run...

Quite amazing really. You were all screaming like schoolgirls for a complete clean out of this massively underperforming squad and now, after one win against an Everton team that didn't turn up, we just need a pace man up front. The leakiest defence in european football is thus exonerated and the completely absent midfield pardoned and all raised to the standard of Championship winners. I see the Kardashian RT Binoculars are even more powerful than I thought. Must be the new "whitewash" button which corrects all flaws and erases the memory module.

Resigned to losing Mitrovic and Babble, although they would terrorise the championship! Seri, and all the loan players will leave and I do not see them really inhibiting our progress. (Chambers exempt) Anguissa however is starting to show why we spent all that the money on him, albeit I accept the price we paid for him, he has yet to show a real return. With a fit Mawson and hopefully Chambers behind him he will dominate most championship midfields and provide Cairney with the platform he needs to perform.

I have come to the Conclusion that my understanding of football, tactics and mid-long term objectives must be somewhat ignorant. To me yesterday was a Useless friendly as will be the remaining matches unless the youngsters are given a run out. Most of yesterdays players have filed for divorced,so there should be no getting in bed with them.Dont give a damm if no one agrees but I would dearly appreciate if someone could explain whats going on.

Owen, we won a match, get real, best thing I can say is it gave us fans something to cheer, other than that the mess is still there, the owners and some players have let us down.

Let’s not get carried away! Everton were not at their best yesterday. Even if they were, don’t think we have green shoots on the back of one game. Remember the wins after Burnley, Huddersfield and Southampton! If we can win 3 or our remaining 5 games (all winnable and apart from Cardiff they have not much to play for) then we may have turned the corner and we can start thinking about the green shoots! Remember the players player well yesterday - Babel, Anguissa, Chambers and maybe even le merchard will not be around next season!

That win against Everton made me feel ecstatic and a little sad all at the same time. I am not an expert and i don't have the answers to unravel why we are in this mess. Tony Khan and his player selections is the obvious answer? I just wonder now, if we keep most of this squad going back in the Championships, we might just click? Some are hinting that some of our newbies are playing out of their skin for a move? The truth maybe is we didn't gell or click into most of our season in the prem and there are obvious reasons for this. Too many players coming into a newly promoted squad is maybe one answer. I am not an expert and it is pointless to now point blame. If there is a mini-run of winning games to end our season? We should just enjoy it and hope that the nucleus of our squad stays together. There is an obvious ability within, and if we are able to access some of our talented youth into our team, we might have a super squad which can blitz the Championships next season and bounce straight back up. If we can gain promotion the first time of asking after our complex and strange season? Our little Fulham could be a theatre of dreams and Hollywood and a book and a film is bursting to come out of its burrow if that is the right word. COME ON YE FULHAM!!!!!!

Actually Owen. we are the second worst team in the Prem, as results and points prove.

I understand what you’re saying Owen but why after a season of our team playing together do we finally gel after we are relegated?

Perhaps the lack of pressure helped them play more to their true potential...but they will face pressure again next season as no doubt the expectation on them will be to bounce straight back-up to the Premier League..

I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad yesterday. Of course I was extremely happy with the result, and especially the way we played, but I was on the other hand sad, that we won't be playing in this league for at least another year, which is a real shame. What I can't understand though is the attitude by some of our players, so it is reported, towards not playing in the Championship. The question is why ? The Championship is world renown for being one of the best leagues in the world, even better than most major leagues in other European countries, so why wouldn't our so called stars want to prove themselves in this division. The likes of Babel, Seri and Chambers, should be encouraged to stay, along with Mitro, Cairney and Sessingnon, who I understand are already saying that they will stay. We will be hot favourites to go straight up, if we can keep most of this squad together, and the players owe us supporters at least one shot at it, as it is them that have put have had us relegated, and not us fans, who have been behind them every game, even when we are losing. Scott Parker should also be left as our Manager if he proves himself over the next few games, as there is no manager on earth who could have started off with such a bad set of fixtures that he had, and even then we were so unlucky not to have had more points out of those games. There is not one team in the Championship as good as Everton, so go on lads stick with us, and you will soon be back where you belong.

We have some talented players maybe to many came in at once. But so much depends on the Managers and SJ and CR both could not get best out of them. And lm not saying Parker is the Answer after one game . You can blame players don’t know why can’t work out things on there own. But just look at Palace last time we went down looked in right mess when we won there 4-1 changed manager stayed up same when RH took over at place adrift at bottom same with us when RH took over

or maybe get the FA to take, say, twenty points from a couple of other teams...sorry people, that would'nt even make the 'We Can Dream' page.

GOOD WIN at last for the guys today for sure...restored a little pride back! ...just makes you so MAD/HURT/GUTTED that we could’t put together similar performances with wins against other Prem teams... have generally punched well below our weight this term for various different reasons. Well hey-ho such is life let’s hope we can re-group and embrace that team spirit and ability which sprung us back to Prem... with swift return! Khan senior is a successful/wealthy businessman and in that sense used to being on the winning team... if he’s going to stick around hopefully has learnt by his mistakes in appointing baby-Khan as head of recruitment (job for the boy!) ...which’s been a complete disaster/major reason for swift relegation. So the lesson is PLEASE don’t treat FFC as a family-hobby...this is OUR Club... time now to make quality appointments with professional personnel who KNOW the game to help Fulham get back to where we wanna be! We’ve all had enough of losing so many games and now looking forward to hopefully winning lots of games and bounce back to Prem stronger! HERE’S HOPING FRIENDS! ...COYW...FULHAM FOREVER!
