Another questionable decision in their favour with the sending off. There’s no chance for the smaller teams to make an impression in the Premier League. Should make the porcelain one happy, always nice to see his welder’s flash grin after they win. There’ll be an extra dollop of sheath cream going on tonight.

I'm certainly no Palace fan but that sending off was a real joke. I don't think it made much difference to the result by any means, but it certainly didn't help Palace. Two vague yellows like that, shouldn't result in a sending off, especially against Liverpool, as it just doesn't seem fair. Saying all that I'm pleased that Palace lost.

Let's hope he has gained confidence in the last few games, As i see him as a top class striker...Marco has proved he knows when to kick your butt or give a bit of love... W Ham will be an interesting & tough game.. But to all the Marco doubters get ready to eat humble pie!!! If you have the bottle...

We were hammering Notting Forest, scoring some fantastic goals but the Forest few thousand out sang an shouted the rest of the crowd by a mile. Is our support so poor because we are used to losing or is the ground full of Chelsea supporters slumming it?

What a change around for Andreas Pereira against Forest. I have been his worst critic and i singled out Pereira as the typical footballer signing who settles into a team and drifts off into a comfort zone where he knows that his name is on the team sheet week in and out and producing s0-so performances. Against Forest Pereira showed firstly his defensive abilities which we didn't really know he had in his locker then he cracks one against the post which is typical of Pereira and we say no big deal, he does that every now and again but he doesn't score goals. I honestly will not care one iota if Pereira never scores another goal in a Fulham shirt provided he continues to show his Brazilian magic and deft touches in assists which are exceptional. His first one was exquisite and simply brilliant. Palhinha starts the move with a customary sliding interception and Pereira finds the space between Forest defenders holding his run and then slipping a perfectly weighted pass to to Jimenez to score his first in the match. They keep saying that Forest are a poor team but i beg to differ, a skill like that one from Pereira is on another level of brilliance in my opinion. Pereira's second assist came from a quick free kick and a clever Jimenez run sees a 25 yard pass to Jimenez that takes two defenders out of the game and Jimenez shows off his chest and ball control followed by a skillful backheel for his second goal, are we Barcelona or what? We stretched Forest and tired them out with some nice touches and the Fulham fans celebrating every pass in a chorus of hoo's and ahh's, are we in dreamland now? Pereira is still o it past 80 odd minutes and i still can't believe it. Pereira combines up with Cairney who pops up with another excellent goal and congrats to Cairney who is showing how important he is to this team and yes' he can play a full game. Fulham have always had a liking for flair players and skill and we like to play our football which looks good and attractive when we pull it off. Our criticism of playing it out from the back is only justified when we mess it up by losing the ball and putting Leno and ourselves under pressure. What is now obvious and poignant is that We are now playing together in a coordination and sweet harmony and we look good and comfortable playing out from the back. Yes' there are a few teething problems and we still have our moments where we lose it a little but overall we are starting to look like a top 8 prem team with our limited resources. I say limited but who knows? Any more improvement from the likes of Jimenez and the solid combination and look of Bassy and Tosin looks the real deal. How will we keep Tete happy warming the bench now i don't know. West Ham will test us and they are better and more rugged and physical than Forest. Bring it on, i just love Fulham 'MORE AND MORE!!!!!!!
Replies
Steady on Owen, you are reflecting one the one game against Nottingham Forest. Whilst there is much to be positive about we should wait and see the outcome of our next five or six games. I agree with much and thought the same about some of our players with Tosin making the biggest impact, but he pace was slow and understanding it will take him tome to get fully fit, then will he stay at Fulham , I think not. Much to be optimistic about so let's hope the team stays focused and confident
posted by MG (Guest) - Saturday 09th December 2023, 7:33 AM

Yes i agree with everything said MG and my reflection on Fulham over one game is over the top. Our loss to Liverpool was not a surprise in the least and we didn't expect a win up there anyway. Saying that, to score 3 against them was truly exceptional and they will say that they had this or that player out etc. Teams such as Liverpool and City are huge and benched players are no second-string outfits no matter what they say. Liverpool will most likely keep their unbeaten record at Anfield this season but not many teams will score as much as 3 up there so we are in fact growing and developing our game tentatively without Mitrovic. We needed that sort of game against Forest who have some good players we could easily accommodate and yes Tosin will be tested and put to the sword more so against a more robust and rugged West Ham who we don't beat very often. It is interesting to see partnerships developing on the pitch such as Bassey and Tosin but can we keep everybody happy at our level of development at Fulham? Marco wants two in every position to cover injuries and such like and it is interesting to see if we can pull it off and keep everybody happy. Young players who show anything from smaller teams such as ours are always off somewhere when someone shows interest. We have seen the devastation it has when Mitrovic was sold and it has taken time to heal and adjust our game. This is why we never progress and hit the dizzy heights of the top 6 many times in our history. The excellent Palhinha who we haven't touched on was vital also in the forest game and his blocks and tackles were exceptional as per usual. It is no secret that Palhinha will also depart and once again this will create another problem maybe bigger than the Mitrovic one unless we hit paydirt with the Brazillian defence mid who will replace him. Maybe i should just enjoy us Fulham and shut up because Fred and old un will tell me i am talking a load of codswallop which I probably am...

He is playing in a different role which certainly gets him more involved and actually uses his strengths to far better effect. This new set up is encouraging. However it was only Forest as the media keep emphasising (although he did a similar job at Liverpool). Let’s see what tomorrow brings. We do look a lot better and Jimenez is now the real deal

Hi folks I don’t want to be a doom monger but after consulting the ball and also the tea leaves this week it’s plain to see that West Ham will continue to be one of FFC’s bogey teams. My Prediction is WHU will win by 2 goals to 1. The ball shows them converting a controversial penalty to win the contest in the 7th minute of injury time. A valiant effort will take place from FFC but the old hoodo will ensure the win for WHU.

Soothsayer, why don't you make up your mind. Lower down you predict 0-3 to West Ham, and now you have forecast 1-2. Why don't you forecast another 10 results, then actually you might just get one right. I doubt it of course, as you are always forecasting a Fulham loss. I agree that this is a tough one, and they always seem to pinch the points from us, especially with their hands, but maybe just maybe, we might just nick this one, but if push comes to shove I will settle for a point each, say 1-1, and hopefully a highly entertaining game, worth getting wet for, especially walking through the sodden Bishops Park.

Glad to see him get a one match pitch side ban. He is very animated, that's fine but not when he gets so close to the pitch. He knows exactly what he is doing is by trying to distract the opposition. Arteta was asked to move back by a Luton player on Tuesday night so he could take the throw in!... Conte was the same on the side of the pitch almost becoming the 12th man of the team. I would like to see the area size reduced and taken further back from the pitch, 1 metre square would be fine. And while on the subject of managers, really do they need to spit, I have so many of them now having a little spit, disgusting for players let alone managers to do that. Come on FA get it stamped out, as the kids are copying this bad habit when they play weekend football.

Personally I think women commentators are a breath of fresh air and bring a nuance and depth to commentary that men can only dream of. Anyone disagreeing with females commentating on Mens sports can only be doing so because they’re a vile sexist and should have their addresses made public so right minded individuals can protest outside and harangue their families as they enter and exit.

I totally agree the women concentrate on the match, most of the male commentators act like childish idiot. Women commentators are a breath of a fresh and a few men can do their own washing and cooking for a change. The World is changing for the better and a lot of very sexist men are being left behind to spout blind hatred.

West Ham may be out on their feet when we play them on Sunday, as they ran themselves into the ground to snatch a win at Spurs this evening. They looked pretty sterile in the first half, and were rightly a goal down, but it all changed at HT, and in the second half they scored one good goal, but Spurs just gave the ball away for West Ham's second goal, then West Ham blocked Spurs every attempt to score. We will find it tough to break them down, despite the fact that we will probably be the better football team. Believe me we have a tough one coming up on Sunday, it's certainly no gimmi.

The result last night was an excellent outcome, as we score 3 in the past three games for the first time since 1966, when we had Moore and Mullery. You lot have also to understand that we are not going to play Nottingham Forest FC every week. We did well against Liverpool FC and were unlucky not to get at least a draw. Time will tell, we need to keep our heads, as our tally of yellow cards is no credit to our play. Shame that more Managers do not speak out against VAR

FULHAM AT CHRISTMAS The Cottage at Christmas a place to be, As in Stevenage Road only rats move. Players are feasting so nothing to see, Silent night Saints are sure to approve. By Haynes place a young man stands, A stern look fixed on his face, By his side his fingers limply fanned, He looks and sees the statue at this place, Surprised to see his own face on display, Walks on through an opening space, Heads to the familiar pitch ready to play, An invisible crowd cheer once more, As again they see the great man score. But this ghost of the past cannot remain, The Cottage at Christmas is silent again.

Does this mean we wont get our striker ??? think of money saved so we get another mid/f !!.Also any one noticed attendance figures for last few games ?, almost the exact amount in every game, even for night games. .

The last two games before last night made the players realise that they could score goals without Mitro. The attacking players we are all getting in places to make chance and took most of the chances created. When we defend we have everyone back who try very hard to win the ball back so everyone can get on the attack again. The best think about last night was the beaming smile on Jiménez's face when he scored his cheeky second goal. This really looks like the turning point of our season.

A couple of weeks ago, a lot of our fans were crying out for a new striker, as Jimenez was so hopeless, and should be given the heave ho in January, and we thought that Marco was mad to keep playing him, and it was only because he didn't want to admit that the had made a mistake by signing him. Now, maybe we can now see that Marco's faith, and no doubt his coaching, is in fact paying dividends. I know that one swallow doesn't make a summer, so we will have to wait and see if this was a one off against a rather poor side, or the beginning of a fruitful career with us, and thoughts of Mitro will be a thing of the past. As a poster below, mentioned, once Traore returns to the frame, we could have an all firing strike force. We mustn't get too exited, as we all know that when West Ham visit CC, they usually waltz off with the points, so this will be a better game to judge whether we are on the up, or we have just beaten a Championship side.

We looked like Man City at their best last night.

I have to hold up my hands and say that I was person who felt that Jimenez, after his head injury, had completely lost his confidence, understandably, and that he was unlikely ever to regain his old form. I was not alone. Marco believed otherwise, persevered in the face of much criticism, and was prove right. Who would have thought our manager would know better than a whole lot of ‘sages’ on this site? Unbelievable, but there you are. He has looked very effective in the last two games and I hope this is what we can continue to look forward to. All those dodgy signings: Iwobi, Bassey, Castagne and Toure looked pretty good to me last night. Long may they continue to perform, then we might just have the makings of a stable PFL squad. Thought last night was an excellent team performance with everyone making a real contribution. In Silva we trust, seems he might know what he’s doing. Loved seeing Tom back and in typical fashion controlling the game, with the help of a few others. Excellent stuff.

Always seems that Marco knows each players needs, whether new recruits or established, and will introduce or select them at opportune moments. For example Iwobi and Bassey weren't immediately put straight into team but are now an established player in the team. Plus TC is showing how Marco motivates even long established players to go and prove their worth and value. No wonder Marco was most sought after coach in the summer and we are very fortunate that he has decided to stay and provide his services to Fulham FC.

A better balanced side now Tosin is in the team. A left and right footer at last, in the centre of defence. Well played Fulham, everyone played their part last night and cannot single out a man of the match as the contribution was equal from all the players.

Is this the same Ted, who wallows in Fulham defeats. Surly not. I was absolutely delighted to witness tonight's match, although unfortunately only on the TV. I know that Nottingham Forest were poor, but we made them look poor. Marco, is slowly and surely building up a pretty decent Premier League side, and thank goodness, despite our fans criticisms, he has stuck by Jimenez, and we are gradually reaping the rewards. With Bassey, Iwobi, Castagne, looking outstanding, and now Jimenez, has joined the happy band. I'm regrettably going to say, that we didn't miss our Tim Ream tonight. I for one was thrilled to bits when we signed Jimenez and Troare, but was beginning to believe that I was wrong, but once Troare is fit, we will really see us shoot up the table.

Marco was right to persist with Jiménez a once he is full of confidence after his last two displays he will become a consistent scorer I hope from now on. His second goal was by a man full of confidence. Lets demolish West Ham on Sunday in a similar way.

A fantastic result, not only for the 3 points but the emphatic nature of the win. Only positives to take from last night, dispelling both gloom about our prospects for the season, our ability to attract decent additions in January and the self doubt that still pervaded after the Wolves win.

So much better defensively Bassey was immense apart from goals Rau more involved noticeable he got more service that second goal did not notice live at ffc what a delightful back heel pure class ( even my ex idol mitro would not have done that!! Some of palihnas tackles very good Willian proper footballer can’t fault that display forest started well two quick goals demoralised them we was different class when we got going think the 15 minutes or so after break was fantastic moved the ball so well as for cooper doubt he will survive Fans loyalty won’t help sadly lacking in all departments cant score cant defend. Seen there last 4 games now club with problems have to blame manager for his transfer policy not good enough seeems players he brought in ( far to many ) no better than the ones replaced should have got more quality less quantity instead of buying 20 odd should have brought 5 or six

At last quality team selection? They all played exceptionally well and i like the look and solidness of Bassey and Tosin. Pereira had a decent game and Cairney who supposedly cannot play 90 minutes, played 90 minutes plus again. It is worth saying again that we have found a way of playing without Mitrovic which takes time. A wel played to Jimenez who was much bold and braver in front of goal and he looked hungrier still. Jimenez didn't want the sub and thats how it should be. Good sub in Toure who isa strong as an ox. Times are now interesting at Fulham and lets see how much more improvement is to come from Jimenez and others before January.

Are B Leno our goalkeeper, who is one of the best in the Premiership and Jano Phahinha who has made an incredible number of tackles to date. Harry Wilson is good and a credit to his profession. I understand the rumour is that Tom Cairney will be moving at the end of the season, under normal circumstances I would understand that but these are NOT normal circumstances. We need to score more goals and forget the pretty pretty footwork. You only score goals when you kick the ball towards the opponent goal. More shot more goals. The problem is we have no proven strikers on our books. That has to be remedied in January. Why I ask Mr T Kahn has this been allowed to happen?

Observer, the post yesterday purporting to be from me criticising Owen was not from me and as I am a registered member I would not appear as a Guest. In addition, the four numbers at the end of my moniker are incorrect. I left this board, from posting comments anyway, following the vile and abusive comment by someone using the monicker Madmax1234. There are only a handful of posters on this board that I respect with Owen heading that list. I have never criticised him and have long championed his intelligent comments and wish there were more posters who would implement the same amount of effort that he contributes to this site which has deteriorated to an extremely low level. I will only comment if provoked but will always read the comments purely for the handful of decent posters still making the effort. Too many sensible posters have left, never to return. As an aside LTS I was at the 2-2 draw with Manchester City and consider Frank Swift, second only to Gordon Banks, as the greatest English keeper I have seen. Certainly on that day he appeared to have magnetic hands and his brilliance prevented Fulham from winning Owen you carry on and keep the flame burning.

No Striker, no Number nine, no target man, equals no team? That is what we are led to believe and apparently, Marco Silva has no clue and should be sacked! Klopp by the way has huge respect for Marco and he is aware and knowledgeable that Marco Silva is one of the best coaches in football today. I am surprised that nobody commented on one of our team goals of the season against Liverpool of all teams. Our equalizer for 1-1 was a perfectly executed team goal with the combination of the excellent Robinson who i wrote about being the important component against Liverpool, 'may the force be with Robbo' and add Pereira, Iwobi, and Wilson to finish off in the mix and we can't leave out Marco who surely is the architect in all this. I am Wilson's biggest critics along with Pereira who should be chipping in with free kick goals both of them. Wilson's timing to finish off this movement was sweetly timed to perfection and yes we lost to a Liverpool who are unbeaten at home this term but we must recognize that we are starting to flow and tick along in a groove again and yes' it is a different groove without Mitrovic. B Reids Goal with the assistance of Cairney and co was also good. TTIN ' wrote about Fulham Forest which is a game we should win provided we come out with the same intensity and quick movements like against Liverpool. Intensity is a big word and we have to back up and finish what we started against Liverpool and Marc Silva is looking for those exact lines. There is not much we can do about the striker problem other than swopping around Vinny, Jimenez, B Reed and Muniz if fit and it really wouldn't matter or relevant who is picked out from these guys and i know we all have our preferences and i say that tongue in cheek. Why worry about who is scoring and not scoring goals? There is nothing we can do about it until January and i think the most important detail we must concentrate on, is that we continue to play well as a team and the goals will come from all sources. I challenge any Fulham fan to know and say who our top scorer will be up till January. Pereira and Wilson should keep up the good works and do lets chip in with as few goals from now until January...

I have been saying for a while if we do not have a striker who will 100% use someone in the squad who will. I would replace the striker with Cairney who works hard and creates and scores goals, what an attacking midfielder is supposed to do. The midfielders we consistently play are rare scorers. The other problem is that for too long we have relied for one very good player to score most of the goals. until we get such an efficient striker again, perhaps in 20 years, we need to learn to play without one, as a lot of teams do. It used to be traditional to have two strikers but that became unfashionable so we went down to one, it may become fashionable to not have one at all. In our case as our three strikers rarely score goals so if we play without one we tell all our players, as clearly as possible, it is up to them to score they will probably do it and it really cannot be worse and may be a lot better.

The 4 goals Liverpool scored are usually called Woldies, the sort of goals that are rare and impossible to save. To get four in the same match has probably never happened before. We would of won in normal circumstance, but this was extraordinary circumstance and there is nothing any manager of player could have done to change things.

...but are we effectively playing with 10 men when Raul starts. In the early days, I thought that Jiminez worked hard, defended from the front, collected the ball in midfield and placed well meaning passes however, more recently, I notice him just standing around and watching what is going on around him. He rarely gets into goal scoring positions, does not read the game well and does not take risks. All these flicks and tricks he is doing now just smacks of desperation to me. Vinny is a liability and could easily have been sent off at least three times this season (Wolves, Chelsea and Sheff. Utd) and although we've seen splatterings of form from Muniz, he is not Prem ready in my opinion. We need at least two strikers in January (not one) and we should sell Vinny and retire Raul. Keep Muniz in the first team to learn off the first teamers but only play him in the cup. Thoughts??

We are desperate for some fire power up front, and yes agree all three strikers we have, Jiminez, Vinicious and Muniz are sadly not to it. We obviously cannot buy good proven goal scorers because they are either too expensive, too old or just not interested in playing for Fulham. The solution must come from younger talent such as Jay Stansfield or the likes of Jack Clarke from Sunderland. We need pace up front as soon as possible.

He’s been advised to leave Bayern as he’s not getting games. You must be very stupid if you think players will only play for teams they support. He’s been known to score the odd goal so maybe not for Fulham. He might fancy a six month jolly in London on a loan deal. Mitro might even rent him his house to add to his coffers. Glad I could help.

Looking at a photo of three Man City players around the ref with horrible looks on their faces, one looks like a monster, but it’s Man City so that’s alright. Last season Mitro got send off for tapping the ref on the shoulder to ask a question and his coach got sent off for asking why.

Tapping the ref on the shoulder??!! Are you sure!! Personally, I think Man City players had every right to be surrounding the ref. He waved play on when Haarland was fouled, waited for the trhough ball and then when Grealish was through on goal, he blew for a foul. Very suspicious in my opinion...

FIFA want a rule that only the Captain is allowed to approach or speak to to the Ref, any player who break this rule would be booked. This would seem sensible to me.

The ref ignored a lot of what used to be fouls without fear or favour which kept the game going brilliantly. A player touches another and the touched play falls down in agony, these are the "fouls" the ref ignored, good thing to.

I can’t believe this board is letting Ream off the hook. I challenge anyone to name a single ball in the channel he got to first or a single 50/50 that he won. The third goal, he absolutely should have stepped in and won it. He was scared about giving a penalty or free kick and ceded possession, which led to that equalizer at 3-3. His lack of pace can be hidden at the Cottage. On a wide pitch, against class, he gets exposed. Jedi had a brilliant game against Salah, shame it was wasted. Tosin needs to start, Bassey needs to slide to his natural position. It didn’t help that Joao had a poor game tactically. Constantly out of position. Both he and Reed dropped way too deep into the box for the 3rd and 4th. Gutted bc this was our best performance of the season. By far. And we threw it away.

Drago' this Liverpool side would easily flatten most teams with younger defenders this season. Remember they are unbeaten up there. And goals were from distance mostly. Ream was unlucky with his from offside and tactically we can't really blame him for the loss. Robbo did his job brilliantly and it is a shame we lost. Normally they rip us open and score but this time we lose by distant shots. Who would have predicted? I still suspect that Leno didn't quite line up his positioning to some of their goals after concussion but there you go....

It was a great game to watch but after the dust has settled i am scratching my head a little bit? Leno was down and out for the count for more than 5 minutes and i wonder now if only his positioning was a little better for at least two of their goals. Still no excuses and i think we will get better as we go on into the season without Mitrovic. Wilson took his team goal well but he and the vacant Pereira have to do better in a Fulham shirt.

If we had midfielders who could consistently hammer the ball into the net from the edge of the penalty area we would be a much better team. We scored 3 workmen-like goals they scored four woldies, which is difficult to compete against. We played well and that is what Marco must stress through the disappointed. The best team consistently win from losing situation, we must learn that trick. They also are very good at hanging onto winning situations.

Very Good word by the manager “Clearly, we deserved much more from the game than what we took,” Silva said. “To come to Anfield and play the way we did – twice we scored to equalise, and then at the end of the second half to be able to score a great team goal and to be leading the score is not an easy thing. And we did it. “This afternoon, the way they scored the goals, the first two were world class – a free-kick and that great, great goal from Mac Allister. It’s not easy to do something against these types of situations. “These goals aren’t something that happen often. They didn’t create much, apart from the two goals first half, we didn’t give them much space behind our backline. “Second half was the same, they had a big chance on a counter attack with Salah and Darwin, but nothing more. “We knew that after all the changes the game was going to be much more open for us to create more chances and try to score the third goal, and we did it in a good style. I have to say our third goal was a very good goal from ourselves. “We know the game is never 100 per cent under control against these types of sides and these types of crowds, but the game was more or less under control. [Then] one long ball, a good second ball from them, and another great finish from the edge of the box. “In that moment I knew it was the end of the match. I wanted to make a change quickly to calm the game down again, and in that moment [after] a mistake from us they scored the fourth goal. “The players clearly didn’t deserve what they took from the game. Many, many positives from them, the boys have to be proud of what they did. “Unfortunately for us we didn’t take what we deserved, but in this way we are going to get the points in the next few games.”

Just arrived home, and what a rotten journey, and what a disappointing result, as we played so very well, but I must admit their late goals were almost unstoppable. Talking to quite a decent couple of Liverpool fans going away from the ground, they were very complimentary about the way we played. Sometimes however you can always praise the opposition when you win. In the car the four of us, weren't too miserable, and we all agreed that Jedi had a top showing, and was our MOM. Can we produce this type of performance against Nottingham Forest, is anyone's guess, but if we can then we will win.

It must be a Portuguese something or other, Jimenez just can't do it. The question is what will or what can Marco do? I would have hauled his b-ck-side off in the first half and put Vinny on who isn't scoring many either and that decision will also get criticism. Marco has made some clangers and maybe his next decision should be with the Khans or through the old trustee laptop? Lol! My point is that the next transfer striker we pick has got to be good or we fail again and January is not exactly the best time to buy strikers...

Musing about current owners. I know there are many (hopefully minority) of fans out there are not happy with the owners. I am happy we have the Khans. I feel they genuinely want to grow the club. What is pretty clear in their 8-9 years of ownership, they make a mistake in every turn. But what's positive is they learn quickly and generally for the better. No better phrase of the "One Step Back Two Steps Forward". From memory, the mistakes made (and corrected for the better), (1) appointing a famous manager - Felix Magath BUT NOT REALISING he's tactics is out of date (2) Buying big name players Mitroglue BUT NOT REALISING you need the player to fit into team, (3) Buying loads of mediocre players after promotion in 2019 BUT NOT REALISING you can't get rid of them if they are rubbish, (4) loaning loads of players after promotion BUT NOT REALISING you can't build a team in the premier league with loan players, (5) playing promising youth players in first team without securing their contracts BUT NOT REALISING there's no loyalty and they will walk for free if they perform (6) Stubborn, rightly so, in not selling Mitro and Palhinha BUT NOT REALISING contracts are worthless in football and you need a back-up plan (7) building a new stand BUT NOT REALISING we have cowboy contractors in this country and will end up costing your more! (8) Maximise ticket price so the club have more money for players BUT NOT REALISING fans in this country generally stick together. With a better memory, I can probably go on. The good news is they act on lessons learned and improve! If you don't agree - just ask yourself, if the club is a better position now than when they took over?! I think 99% would agree the club is a much healthier and better position!! sorry - a bit long post- and I am not Owen in disguise.

Get an editor Owen. I’ve read(coloured in) books shorter than this. I’m currently reading the follow up to ‘Waiting For Godot’, it’s called Here He Comes Now. Hopefully it’ll have a lucky ending. I also learned an interesting fact yesterday, the Saudi’s don’t allow the Flintstones to be shown on television but the Abu Dhabi do.

Watched the comments earlier in the day, when Thomas Frank was asked if TONEY would be staying with the bees in jan. he said yes, but we are in early stages to purchase another C/F. When pressed on naming he rightly refused. All we read is we are interested in. then it states he is injured at the moment, but when he recovers we will run the rule over him. What the F..k cant we for once look at players who are or not or have been prone to injury

To be honest, i didn't see or expect a quick goal like that against Wolves last week and i suspect that none of you did either. It would take another swift and decisive attack like that against Liverpool to do it all over again and we are capable. Capable when going forward as we always do in games gone by where we haven't managed to capitalise in the moment. If we are to score the first goal against Liverpool, i would rather we score late on in the game because we all know what is coming for the rest of the game. And that is a relentless Liverpool onslaught where we sit back while they pound us attack after attack. This is why i will centre on the force of Robinson because defending is key to our game which is fragile and we don't really know which Fulham is going to turn up at Anfield. Robinson will have to have his best game in a Fulham shirt tomorrow against a Liverpool side which are at their strongest at Anfield this season. We have to talk about our opponents sometimes and Mo Salah down that side will keep Robinson busy for 90 minutes. Ream might look a spent force but i can't see Marco leaving him out. Ream has played game for sure against Liverpool in the past and he can do so again. We will make mistakes and have breakdowns when they counter because they are a top team and we are Fulham-ish. If anything, we are hoping the likes of Robinson can use his speed in the recovery of the ball and all our defences to play an almost flawless game. I have not mentioned our forwards, Vinny, Muniz, Jimenez, or D Reed because it is a fruitless task to even guess, predict, or even take a punt on any of them scoring a goal. We know they all will have opportunities and half chances but will they take them? Your guess is as good as mine. We have more chance of a right and correct prediction from Old Un or Fred who i know will say that Vinny is useless and is the last one to score on this planet or Jupiter. So i will say why not, lets have a mad prediction and say that Vinny will score at least one goal lol. Let's have a few whisky chasers first before i loosen the lips saying that. COME ON FULHAM!!!!!!!!!!!

I should say that Ream has played one of his best games against Liverpool...

Marco has taught the team not to fear Liverpool and with that attitude, though the odds are against us, we have a real chance.

We would all love to come up with a shock result at Anfield tomorrow, but we also really know that this is not going to happen, as we all knew, that we wouldn't get anything against Manchester City, away. Hopefully though we will play well, and not concede too many goals. The trouble with the Premier, and I do love being involved with Fulham, the top 6 teams, are always going to beat the lower teams, such as us, Brighton, Brentford Palace, etc. Not lower in the league, but lower on fire power, and that's the way it is I'm afraid.

You try to impress your friend by proposing to get him a seat in the Fulham luxury stand and are surprised of the price? Get him a seat in the Hammersmith end it is much cheaper. You buy a premium ticket in any form of entertainment you will play a lot more. The other stands compared to the new stand it is standard class on a plane compared to business class which is about three to fours times the price. Fulham have gone nowhere that pricing level. The ticket price protesters do not realise what a quality product they are expecting to get cheap. Economics will tell you price it is nothing to do with cost, it is what people are willing to play. We seem to fill the ground for most games.

This will be an interesting game. I think the only chance we have is to park the bus and then park another bus in front of that one and then pray we can stop them scoring and then for Billy Badger to run on and volley one into the back of the Liverpool net... Then I woke up from my dream!
Replies
We have not got enough defenders to fill a car let alone a bus. Our strength is our attacking play so lets not play a defensive game as that is what Liverpool will expect as their defence is their weakness as well.
