Player description
The Club announced the signing of Fredrik Stoor from Norwegian side Rosenborg BK on the 30th July 2008. The Swedish international joined the Whites on a four-year-deal which will see the player at the Club until the summer of 2012.
The 24-year-old Swedish right-back has recently broken into the international scene having made eight appearances for his national side, three of which were made during Sweden?s group stage matches at this summer?s Euro 2008 tournament.
Stoor was born in Stockholm and joined local side Hammarby at the age of 12 where he progressed through the ranks at youth level before making his first senior appearance in 2003. He moved to Rosenborg BK in 2007 having helped Hammarby to a third place finish in the league.
Stoor made four Champions League appearances for Rosenborg last season which included a memorable 2-0 away victory against Valencia.

The Swedish right-back was a regular in the Whites' cup competitions during his first season (08/09) at the Club, playing his part as Fulham reached the Quarter-Final of the FA Cup.
However, the 25-year-old found his chances fairly limited as a result of the form of John Pantsil, having signed from Norwegian champions Rosenborg in the summer of 2008 where he spent two successful seasons.
The Club beat reported interest from Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and a host of German and French clubs for his transfer.
Stoor came in with plenty of experience having been part of Sweden's UEFA Euro 2008 squad and the Rosenborg squad that went close to progressing through to the UEFA Champions League knock-out stages in 2007-08, beating Valencia twice and drawing 1-1 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
With his boundless stamina and acceleration Stoor offers a useful outlet down the right flank, and although predominantly a full-back, he can also operate in a more advanced role in midfield.
Stoor trialled with Manchester United as a teenager, before signing his first professional contract with Hammarby.
Fredrik Stoor has made a permanent move to Norwegian club Valerenga Fotball.
Stoor joined Fulham in the summer of 2008 after representing Sweden at the European Championships but found his chances limited due to the form of John Pantsil at right back.
Valerenga Fotball play their home matches at the Ullevaal Stadion, the home of the Norwegian national football team in Oslo. FFC would like to wish Fredrik every success for the future.
