Roy Hodgson reinforced his attacking options during the January 2008 transfer window with the acquisition of Erik Nevland. The striker signed for the Whites on a two-and-a-half year deal from Norwegian side Viking FK.

Nevland has an impressive career goals tally and his striking pedigree was evident during the tail end of last season when his two strikes against Reading and Birmingham fired Fulham towards the safety zone.

The strikers commitment to the cause last term was admirable. His impressive energy levels, sharp turn of pace and instinctive finishing will see him pushing hard for a First Team berth during the 2008/09 campaign.
