Diomansy Kamara signed for Fulham during the summer of 2007 from West Bromwich Albion. After a scintillating end to the 07/08 season, Kamara was dealt the cruelest of blows during the summer of 2008 when he suffered a cruciate knee injury whilst on international duty with Senegal.

The striker was firing on all cylinders at the tail end of last season, his Fulham career ignited by a stunning display against Manchester City, which included a spectacular last minute winner. Kamara's display against City thrust him to the fore and saved Fulham from the clutches of relegation.

The scorer of exquisite goals, Kamaras electric pace, direct attacking play and high levels of skill provide Fulham with a unique attacking threat. Player and Club will be hoping for a return to form and fitness in 2009.
