Trans-Tasman clash at Craven Cottage

Plans for the All Whites to face Australia in an international friendly in London in June are firming up.

However, the rest of New Zealand's calendar for the foreseeable future is looking bare.

The international against the Socceroos has been set down for Craven Cottage, home of west London side Fulham.

"We've got to the stage where we've agreed terms," outgoing New Zealand Soccer (NZS) chief executive Bill MacGowan said.

"It's subject to approval from the New Zealand Soccer board, which is meeting next Wednesday."

While the match would be a warm-up for the Socceroos before the Confederations Cup in Germany later in June, MacGowan said playing in London was something NZS had explored for some time.

"We've always wanted to test the expatriate market over there," he said.

The All Whites have not be in action since their disastrous Oceania Nations Cup campaign in Adelaide last June.

Their performances in that tournament, which included a shock loss to Vanuatu, also eliminated them from contention for the Confederations Cup and next year's World Cup finals.
