Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega hopes to fire his way to a new Fulham deal.

The Colombian striker scored his sixth goal of the season in Saturday's win against Huddersfield - the same number he managed in the whole of last campaign.

Rodallega's contract expires in the summer, but the former Wigan frontman wants to extend his three-year stay at Craven Cottage as they try to win promotion back to the Premier League.

He said: "Last season everyone was down about relegation. Now it's different and we have to carry on winning and try to move up that table, that's the objective.

"I have always played in the Premier League - Wigan went down after I left. I want to come back, so does everyone in the team.

"My contract is up, but I want to stay here. I haven't spoken to the club yet but maybe I will in the next few months.

"I am happy and am enjoying the moment. I want to score more goals and play every game.

"My best tally is 11 goals for Wigan in 2012, but this is the most I've scored for Fulham, so I will try to carry on."
