Fulham striker Ross McCormack wants the radar signals to Moussa Dembele fine-tuned by the time the pair line up at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The Whites leading scorer last term believes Fulham could be on to something good if they can second-guess each other's game.

Dembele turned provider for McCormack's goal against Blackburn on Sunday, and then helped himself after the Scot's cross brought saves from Ryan Tunnicliffe and Tom Cairney before the 19-year-old finished it off.

McCormack was deprived of regular partner Matt Smith after the latter suffered knee ligament damage nearly a month ago.

The gauntlet was then thrown down by boss Kit Symons to fill the void, and the Frenchman has been quickest to pick it up.

"Moussa's an animal," McCormack said.

"He's massive and he's only 19 years old. He's very quick; and quick on the ball, and like any partnership it's just getting to know each other.

"And if that's the partnership it's going to be, then it's important he gets to know what runs I'm going to make and vice versa."
