See if Fulham can avoid the drop

Fulham

Lee Clark's hopes of making an appearance before the end of the season have been scuppered by a calf problem.

The former Newcastle midfielder picked up the injury in his comeback game from the Achilles trouble that has wrecked his season.

Fellow long-term casualty Chris Coleman will not be risked at Elland Road despite his welcome return to reserve-team action after his broken leg - even though the Cottagers are still not safe from the drop.

Jean Tigana must decide on his strike partnership with Louis Saha, Luis Boa Morte, Barry Hayles and Steve Marlet all in the travelling party.

Rio Ferdinand is poised for a return to the Leeds defence for the visit of Fulham.

The Elland Road skipper has missed last five Premiership matches and two England games with a knee injury, but is expected to be back alongside Dominic Matteo in the centre of defence.

But David O'Leary is still without midfield duo Olivier Dacourt (hamstring) and Harry Kewell (foot), who are both some way off a return.

And the Leeds boss must decide whether to restore Robbie Fowler - who made his Leeds debut at Craven Cottage - to the starting side alongside the in-form Mark Viduka after opting for Robbie Keane in last week's win at Aston Villa.
