Fulham Coach Slavisa Jokanovic has faith that Fulham’s style of play will be enough to see off a difficult Ipswich Town team on Saturday.

The Suffolk outfit have proven a resolute force of late, and Jokanovic is expecting them to be in his side’s faces from the off at Craven Cottage.

“Ipswich is a team that haven’t lost many games,” he said in his pre-match press conference. “In the last 12-13 games they’ve lost only two.

“In the last game against Wigan they played very well, won three points, and they’re not a team that’s in danger of a relegation battle. They’re going to come into it with confidence and with desire to win the game.

“Ipswich, with Mick McCarthy, are always very intense, a very solid and strong team. We expect they are going to push hard and try and press us and not give us space to combine easily.

“So we must be confident in what we want to do and try and find our way to play football. We need to be brave. Don’t be scared because somebody is going to press us.”

With Sheffield Wednesday not playing until later, victory over Ipswich would move the Whites back into the Play-Off spots.

“I believe my players can make important things,” he stated. “They’ve made important things during this season and I’m fully confident we can repeat the best performances that we’ve offered this season.

“I want to encourage them until the last second of this competition. I am confident we are mentally ready to fight and make important things.”

Fulham will welcome Scott Parker into the fold after the Club Captain recovered from a back injury, but Denis Odoi continues to miss out.

“Denis Odoi is not ready for tomorrow’s game, but the rest of the team is available,” Jokanovic revealed. “Parker was working with us today and he will be part of the squad.” ”
