Fulham have denied reports Mark Schwarzer has handed in a transfer request and expect the goalkeeper to remain at Craven Cottage.
Schwarzer, 37, is believed to be a target for Arsenal and it is believed the Gunners had a £2 million bid rejected earlier in the summer.
It was claimed on Wednesday morning that Schwarzer has now asked to leave the club to try to force through a move to Emirates Stadium, but Fulham say there is no truth to the reports.
A Fulham spokeswoman said: "The club has not received a transfer request from Mark Schwarzer. Mark is under contract with us until the summer of 2011 and the manager has underlined his commitment to keep hold of his best players."
