Fulham midfielder Mattias Kait has revealed that Fulham have told him to continue the way he's playing and wait for his chance in the first team, despite his escapades with Estonia.

The 19-year-old got his first cap for his country in 2016 and has gone on to make eight appearances, scoring three goals and was called up once again for their games against Gibraltar and Bosnia and Hezegovina.

That's all despite not being selected for the Whites' first team, however, Kait trains with the senior side regularly at Motspur Park and the senior staff, including Javier Pereira, have told him to continue the way he's training and his chance will come.

Kait said: "I have not spoken to (Slavisa) Jokanovic myself.

"To be honest, he himself speaks very little to the players, But the coaches have talked to me - the Assistant coach said that coaches are very pleased with me.

"He said that at the moment, keep up the same spirit. This week, when I trained with them, they said that I had worked very well during this period.

"They said your moment should be: wait and play the same way. That's the only thing I can say right now. Be happy, so it's all right: wait for your moment.

"Maybe the cup games have more opportunities for young people."
