Greek side Olympiakos have contacted Fulham goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny about a move to Greece.

The Czech Republic shot-stopper has not had a look-in at Craven Cottage and his chances of seeing any football have been all but extinguished by the recent arrival of Antti Niemi.

With Tony Warner and Mark Crossley already at the club, Drobny's best chance of action may come with a move away.

Greek giants Olympiakos could offer him a lifeline, with Drobny saying the club have already talked with his agent.

Although he does not know anything more, Drobny says that he would jump at the chance to join Olympiakos.

"My agent has already had contact with Olympiakos officials," Drobny told Sportday.

"I can't say anything more, because I don't know anything more.

"I have to say that playing in Greece with Panionios I managed to create my name and become well known in football, so I will have them in my heart forever.

"But if I am going to go back to the Greek league, I would only like to play for Olympiakos. I have always liked the club and especially their fans.

"They have the most passionate supporters in Greece and of course the fact that Olympiakos play in the Champions League every year is a big motivation."

Olympiakos have also had an eye on Club Brugges goalkeeper Tomislav Butina, but Drobny could be the more realistic option.
