  • Mexican side Xoloitzcuintles Tijuana have unveiled an ambitious bid to sign former England captain David Beckham for the first half of 2012, and are reportedly willing to provide him with private jets to and from matches as well as a cool £6m for his short stay.

  • Tottenham are expected to miss out on Brazilian target Leandro Damiao after Internacional revealed they had received a £34m offer for him from a team in the Ukrainian league.

  • Spurs could turn their attention to out-of-favour Juventus striker Amauri, which could force Jermain Defoe to join QPR in the January transfer window.
