Fulham keeper David Stockdale has admitted he would consider staying with Hull City on a permanent basis following a successful loan from Fulham.

The England Under-21 goalkeeper has struggled for first-team action at Craven Cottage under Martin Jol as Australian veteran Mark Schwarzer remains the first-choice at Craven Cottage.

As a result Stockdale has enjoyed a successful loan spell with Championship promotion-chasers Hull as the Tigers currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot with five games remaining.

And, with Fulham looking to bring in a new goalkeeper to be Schwarzer's long-term replacement, it appears Stockdale's days with the Londoners are numbered.

Therefore he claims a move to the KC Stadium on a £2.5million full-time basis is not out of the question, especially if they do reach the Premier League.

"Staying at Hull permanently is a possibility. I have to think about it, especially if they go up," he told The Mirror.

"It has been very frustrating at Fulham. There have been bits here and there, but that is not down to me - it's because they have a keeper in Mark Schwarzer who is doing very well.

"But there is a fantastic group of lads at the KC Stadium, and the team also plays great football."
