Fulham have confirmed that Algerian left-winger Hameur Bouazza has left Craven Cottage and signed for Turkish club Sivasspor on a permanent basis.

The 24-year-old joined the Cottagers from Watford in 2007 for a reported £4 million, signing a four-year contract. However, he has never really settled in west London, and was rumoured to be piquing the interest if several clubs, including Middlesbrough and Scottish giants Rangers.

Fulham signed Republic of Ireland international winger Damien Duff from Newcastle United, lessening Bouazza's chances of establishing himself as a first team regular even more.

An official club statement read, "Fulham Football Club can today confirm that Hameur Bouazza has joined Turkish side Sivasspor on a permanent basis.

"The club would like to thank Hameur for his services and wished him all the best for the future."
