Fulham winger Alexander Kacaniklic was dealt an injury blow that will see him miss the start of the Premier League campaign as Fulham slipped to a 1-0 pre-season defeat against Werder Bremen at the Weser-Stadion today.
The winger was forced off early in the first half with a hamstring injury in a friendly tie that was settled by Nils Petersen with the only goal after 55 minutes.
Manager Martin Jol tolf fulhamfc.com: "Kaca has made a lot of big steps and progress with us, but he had to come off with a hamstring injury. Hopefully it is not too bad, but he may be out for a couple of weeks.
"That is not what you want from pre-season, as you want to go the camp with all of your players fit. We managed that in Costa Rica, but not here
