One of the top games in the Carling Cup round two involves Premiership side Fulham who visit Nationwide One leaders Wigan at the JJB Stadium.
Plenty of pundits expected Chris Coleman's side to be involved in a relegation battle from the off but they have made a promising start and sit in mid-table after losing just one of their opening five games.
Wigan have also had a good start to their season and are in the top spot in Division One after after dropping just five points out of 24 in their first eight games. The Latics are sure to give as good as they get particularly with recent signing Geoff Horsfield to help them.
Fulham will want to avoid the upset they suffered in the same competition last season when The Cottagers were beaten 2-1 in the fourth round as Wigan continued to the quarter-finals.
However making a firm prediction about these two in-form outfits is difficult with a big question being what team will Fulham field. After a fine start
will Fulham Boss Chris Coleman want to risk first teamers with a tough Premiership away game on the weekend against Blackburn
