Alan Kaye (Wakefield - West Yorkshire)
Alan Kaye is on the National List of referees and ply's his trade in the Nationwide.
His most recent claim to fame was being charged by the F.A. for less than proficient application of the rules when he allowed Viduka of Leeds to be subbed in a pre-season friendly rather than red carding him.
If Viduka had been red carded he would, of course, have had a 3 match suspension at the start of the Premiership season. Hopefully for Ref Kaye there are some Yorkshiremen on the F.A. board and hopefully for Fulham there are no Yorkshiremen playing for Wigan.
So far this season Ref Kaye has dished out 13 yellows in 5 games, 4 to home teams and 9 to away teams and one red card, no prizes for guessing that it went to an away player.
