The Fighting Fulham travel away again on the weekend, this time to Ewood Park in Blackburn, where we will meet up with our old friend Moaner Souness.
We will be playing on the Sunday due to Blackburn's midweek Euro game in Turkey.
Rovers seem to have gone off the boil a little since their opening game 5-1 slaughter of newly promoted Wolves. Since that victory they have managed just one more win, away at Portsmouth, while at home they have now lost two on the trot. Following Rovers defeat in Ankara Monkey glands Souness will have to rejig his defence as it was found wanting too many times. It would appear from the stats that Souness has tried to create an attacking formation which has left defensive duties to someone else. Hopefully he can't change too much before Sunday.
Chris Coleman will want to bounce back from the midweek defeat at Wigan and will try to use the upset as a way of keeping the first team squad focussed and committed. Fulham need to tighten up their defence, particularly in the last 15 minutes when they concede some 33% of their goals, and, if it is possible, improve their conversion rate in front of goal during their their lightening counter attacks.
Elsewhere, on Friday, the team everyone still seems to hate is at home to Newcastle and is walking on a tightrope after bags at noon in the Man U OK corral. This is the type of fixture Arsenal have to win to keep in the hunt for the Championship
but if they are too aggressive it could add to their current problems.
On Saturday Leicester, who claim to have 10 first team injuries, face Man Utd, who like Arsenal must be able to win this type of fixture, but could foxy
Micky Adams have their measure.
Two of the possible candidates for the drop face each other at the Reebok and if Wolves return south or north, which ever direction it is, they must surely be condemned to the drop.
The Fulham Broadway gang are at home to Aston Villa on Saturday and odds of 10/3, at Corals, for the draw and 8/1, at Super Soccer, for the away seem a little extreme.
On Sunday managerless Tottenham will have to drag themselves up to Man City on Sunday where the manager, Keegan, seems to be blaming everyone else for the dip in Man City's form. Hopefully he doesn't make the mistake of blaming Anelka.
If Gentleman Jim McGullion can't be heard on the Club service BBC London will be covering the game in London and an internet feed may be available
here for BBC London
Depending on how the results go on the weekend the best Fulham could end up is in 8th place and the worst in 12th. COME ON YOU WHITES
