Weekend Divi 1 Scores
Grimsby 1 Fulham 0

last updated Sunday 06th May 2001, 3:54 PM

Fulham Football Club are the best squad in the Nationwide league.

Fulham are already acting as the Man Utd of the South with a defeat in their final game against relegation threatened Grimsby.

The Super Whites obviously had their thoughts on other matters and did not play well. There were a couple of changes to the normal line up with Marcus Hahnemann between the posts, Terry Phelan replacing the suspended Rufus Brevett and Andrejs Stolcers starting in place of John Collins.

For the minute by minute details of the game click here

It's disappointing to lose but now we can look forward to THE PREMIERSHIP.

COME ON YOU SUPER WHITES

The relegation issues for Division One were resolved today with both Pompey and the Palace escaping. Pompey won 3-0 and Palce won 1-0 with a last minute goal so Huddersfield, who lost 1-2 at home, went down because their goal difference was 1 goal worse than Palace!!!.

The Fulhamweb prediction for the Grimsby game was 2-1 to the Cottagers with a crowd of 6500.

Say ... We are champions of Division One, have lost only five games all season, have scored more goals than any other team in Europe and have the best goal difference in Europe with the leading goal scorer in the Premier and Nationwide leagues and will be playing in the Premiership next season.
Ho, ho, ho, he, he, he..............
