Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope is keen to keep on-loan Wayne Brown at the club for as long as possible.
Brown, who is currently nursing an ankle injury, extended his loan from Fulham by a further month this wee.
Trollope said: "We believe that Fulham are talking to Wayne about extending his contract. I think they've been pleased with how he's progressed over the last few years.
"He's a player who's a big interest to us, somebody who ticks all our boxes of quality, motivation and his athleticism, so he's one that whatever happens with the situation at Fulham, we'll be looking closer at his situation for next year."
