Michael Hughes has been linked with a switch across south-west London
to Premiership new-boys Fulham.
Hughes is being mentioned as a possible £1.5 million target for
Fulham boss Jean Tigana who wants to turn the club into a Premiership
force.
Tigana is under pressure from the First Division champions' chairman Mohamed
Al Fayed to deliver success to the club. And Hughes is one of the players
that he has expressed an interest in bringing to Craven Cottage in time
for the start of the new season.
Hughes has battled his way back into The Dons first-team squad after missing
most of the season with a broken leg. But Terry Burton now has plenty
of cover and could afford to let him leave the club this summer if the
price is right.
Previous squads played for are Manchester City, Strasbourg, West Ham,
Wimbledon and Northern Ireland
