Big match facts from BBCSport

NEWCASTLE UNITED will run out on Sunday aiming for a fourth successive home Premiership victory, against a Fulham side yet to win away.
  • Graeme Souness suffered his first set back in ten games since taking the reigns at St James' Park, when the Magpies were beaten 2-1 away to Bolton last Sunday. Now the North East club must avoid back-to-back Premiership defeats for the first time since August 2003.
  • Newcastle 'doubled' Fulham with a 3-1 win in this identical fixture in January, to add to their 2-3 success in the capital. Fulham had agreed a fee with Manchester United for Louis Saha just before their trip to St James', so lacked a goalscorer. An Andy O'Brien score, a rare Gary Speed goal and an acrobatic overhead kick from Laurent Robert secured a second successive home win over Fulham for the Magpies. They're claimed seven points out of a possible nine in home Premiership contests with the Cottagers.
  • One defeat in seven Premiership outings.
  • Second highest scorers in the Premiership, ahead of this weekend's games. Their tally of 22 is still nine fewer than Arsenal.
  • Highest placed club to have managed only one clean sheet in the top League, home or away ahead of this round of fixtures. The others are Blackburn and West Brom.
  • One of three clubs to have failed to score in only one Premiership match this term, going into the weekend. The others are Arsenal and Bolton.
  • Opened the scoring in eight top flight matches. Only Arsenal can beat that (nine matches).
  • Conceded the opening goal in just three Premiership games.
  • Lost the lead most often in top flight encounters (nine times).
  • Boast 13 different players on their League and Cup scorers list. That's the longest such roll of any Premiership club going into this weekend.
  • Fourth in the Premiership's Last Six Current Form table with 11 points out of a possible 18, in advance of this latest round of encounters.
  • Second highest scorers in home Premiership games, prior to this round of fixtures, with 12 goals, as opposed to Arsenal's 19.
  • If he participates, Aaron HUGHES will be playing on the eve of his 25th birthday.
  • Lee BOWYER needs two goals to register 50 career League goals.
FULHAM halted their three-match losing run and freefall down the Premiership table with a 2-0 home win over Tottenham last weekend. But they make the long journey without a win in five away League games. Indeed they've picked up just two points on their Premiership travels to date.
  • Chris Coleman will be sending out a League team for the 50th time since being appointed permanently as Fulham manager. He's seen his side collect a point a game so far (11 from 11).
  • Fulham's only victory in 12 League visits to Tyneside was 1-4 in the original Second Division on 16 October 1982. Their last top flight maximum there was 53 years ago, a 0-1 success on 29 September 1951.
  • Won the last two in all competitions.
Lost three of the last five League and Cup games.
  • Lost three of the last four Premiership contests.
  • Not conceded in two matches, nor in 195 minutes (three hours 15 minutes) of League and Cup football.
  • Won one of the last four League encounters.
  • Won three times in the top division this season.
  • Failed to score in four of their last nine top flight encounters.
  • Of 19 goals conceded, only five have been shipped in the first half - and all of those in the middle quarter hour of that half.
  • Still hold the worst disciplinary record in the Premiership (three red cards, 14 yellow).
  • Picked up just two points from 15 available on the road.
  • Andrew COLE, Alain GOMA and Lee CLARK are all former Newcastle players.
  • Luis BOA MORTE is a hat trick short of 50 goals for English clubs.
  • When he next figures from the outset, Mark CROSSLEY will be making his 350th career League start and 450th career club start.
  • If he plays, Zat KNIGHT will be making his 100th club career appearance.
  • If he lines-up from the outset, Billy McKINLAY will be making his 350th start in English and Scottish League football.
  • If on the field at kick off, Moritz VOLZ will be making his 50th start for Fulham.
