Pawel Brozek will have to wait for the winter transfer window until he will be able to transfer from Polish champions Wisla Krakow.
The 2008-2009 season jointed Ekstraklasa top goal scorer has been unable to complete a transfer from Krakow this window.
Fortunately, the Wisla striker has come to terms with this and has been assured he will not be packing his bags to London anytime soon.
Brozek said "No one from England or Wisla has contacted me, so frankly there is nothing to talk about."
"It's hard to say when I will leave now. I have four more years left on my contract and I am happy here."
"I was ready to leave, but nothing came out of it. I am 26 years old and it seems to me that I will have to wait a little bit more longer for a transfer."
The Polish international also mentioned that it is not easy to leave to a good European club from the Polish Ekstraklasa.
"Clubs across Europe are feeling the economic crisis, and are counting every penny. It is not like a few years ago, that spending 2-3 million to them was like nothing."
"Our league is not very appreciated in the world. The Fulham scout even told me that he mainly assessed me through my games in European cups and the national team. Of course I want to be top scorer again, to catch up to Kazimierz Kmiecik is big deal." he explained.
"At this point a transfer seems very unlikely, but I am fine with the idea of staying in Krakow. If things pick up I might leave in the winter window."
A transfer for Brozek to Fullham FC would have been the most ideal move, but the Polish club could not agree with Fullham on a transfer fee.
The Premiership club has since been negotiating with Brozek's agent in hope of capturing the Pole, unfortunately, Wisla have rejected all of the offers Fullham threw on the table.
However, there was an offer sent that Wisla fully agreed on but Brozek this time denied - from FC Metalist Kharkiv.
Metalist offered 3,5 euros for the Polish target man, double of what Fullham were planning to give. Wisla were ready to sell, but there was only one problem, Brozek was not interested.
This would have been a contract of a life time for him where the Pole would quickly make enough money for an early retirement.
"I would rather stay in Wisla and play another good season then go to Ukraine. Right now money is not on my mind." adds Brozek.
