FULHAM are hoping to sign Club Brugge's Egyptian international goalkeeper Ibrahim El Sayed Nader.
The 27-year-old shotstopper is third choice at Brugge, frustrated by the form of number one Danny Verlinden and he is also behind Dejan Nemec in the pecking order.
Nader is contracted to Brugge until 2002, but he will be allowed to leave if Fulham lodge a reasonable offer.
The Cottagers currently have Northern Ireland international Maik Taylor and American Marcus Hahneman, but it has been reported that Jean Tigana wants a new number one.
Nader, who won the African Championship with Egypt in 1997, joined from Egyptian side Zamalek in 1998 and won a place in the team, playing over 20 games before losing his place.
