Fulham Captain Michael Brown has to face a third unpleasantness stemming from his desperate attempt to prevent Bolton going ahead in the 23rd minute of Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Bolton.
Bolton striker Anelka had taken the ball deep into the Fulham area when Captain Brown tried a sliding tackle from the rear.
Unfortunately but not surprisingly Anelka ended up horizontal and Ref Webb had little alternative but to award a penalty which midfielder Speed converted for Bolton's first goal.
Ref Webb then decided that Captain Brown should get a yellow card for his tackle, which at the time must have seemed a bit of a let off.
However that yellow card was Captain Brown's 5th of the season and as it occurred before the end of February he is suspended from the 18th February for one senior game.
Such is life that Fulham's next senior game was to be on the 17th but was delayed to the 18th so it could be screened by Sky. Oh and it is against Captain Brown's previous club, Tottenham.
In one of the standout games of the FA Cup fifth round Fulham welcome Tottenham to Craven Cottage.
So Michael will be probably have to be restrained while he watches the game from the sidelines rather than kicking six bells out of some old friends.
Apart from Jermaine Jenas and Jermain Defoe that is as they will also be suspended from the 17th February for accumulating 5 yellows.
