WIGAN
15th in Premiership
with 32 points
Position achievable
after MatchDay 30:
Highest 13th - Lowest 17th
- WIGAN ATHLETIC lie three places and eight points above the danger line, going into this home clash with Fulham, who are one place and one point superior. A 25th Premier League win all-time should be enough to ensure a third season in the top level for Paul Jewell's side.
-
Athletic go into this match on the back of two 1-0 victories, home to Newcastle and away to Manchester City. They're aiming to make it three on the bounce for the first time in 18 Premiership outings since mid November.
-
Striker Henri Camara beat Fulham goalkeeper Antti Niemi in a one-on-one confrontation in the 83rd minute to give Wigan an away victory at Craven Cottage in October. It sets up the possibility of a first 'double' for the Latics over the Cottagers since 1990-91.
- Won three of the last five Premiership matches - all by 1-0 scorelines.

FULHAM
14th in Premiership
with 33 points
Position achievable
after MatchDay 30:
Highest 13th - Lowest 17th
- FULHAM have won only one of their last 11 Premiership games, and look set to end the season in lower mid-table obscurity.
-
Chris Coleman's side are the Premiership's joint draw specialists, ending level in 12 of their 29 fixtures. But that's not the only reason why the Thames-side club are not higher in the table. Their away form has been a concern for two seasons. Manchester City were the only club they beat on the road last term, and Newcastle is the only club they've defeated away from the Cottage so far this time around. But while Fulham gained just seven away points last season, they already have 10 in the bag with visits to Everton, Reading, Arsenal and Middlesbrough to come after this.
-
The Cottagers have never won at the JJB, and have not beaten Wigan away from home since a 1-3 success at third League level on 1 September 1992. Since then they've drawn three League visits and lost the most recent three.
