after MatchDay 27:
Highest 4th - Lowest 5th
  • BOLTON WANDERERS against Fulham is a Sunday lunchtime match-up between two equally inconsistent sides of late. Both have won one, drawn one and lost one of their last three Premiership matches. The Trotters' victory was last time out, away to bottom placed Watford. It was their opening League win of 2007, and first maximum since registering five in a row in December.

  • Wanderers will need a victory to stay ahead of the record-breaking pace they set last season, when they bagged 45 points after the opening 27 games of a Premiership season for the first time. They currently have 44 points after 26, and are attempting to stretch an unbeaten home League run to six games.

  • The Trotters are aiming to make it a hat-trick of home Premiership victories over Fulham.

14th in Premiership
with 32 points
Position achievable
after MatchDay 27:
Highest 9th - Lowest 15th
  • FULHAM have avoided defeat in seven of the last eight Premiership matches, and won last time out (2-1, home to Newcastle). But the Cottagers have not completed back-to-back victories in 22 top flight outings since 9 September.

  • The Londoners are the Premiership's joint draw specialists with 11 stalemates. They've without a League victory on the road in 11 trips, since their only maximum away from the Cottage - a 1-2 triumph at Newcastle on 9 September.

  • The Cottagers needed a 90th minute penalty from Jimmy Bullard to get a point from a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in August. The Londoners have had the better of the exchanges in this League, winning six of the 11 Premiership meetings with Bolton.
