Fulham's assistant boss Christian Damiano was upbeat after a 0-0 draw with FC Haka in the InterToto Cup second round first leg tie at Craven Cottage.
Jean Tigana's number two saw the Cottagers batter the Finns, but fail to score thanks to a superb display by Haka keeper Mihail Salwuta.
After the game Damiano commented: "To draw 0-0 is not a bad result, and it was important not to concede a goal.
"We had many chances, but their goalkeeper made some good saves and we hit the bar.
"We were ready to play well after two weeks training, but they were a team with good organisation, although they created no chances."
Visiting coach Olli Huttunen paid tribute to his keeper Slawuta, adding: "He's been playing for a month, due to injury to our normal keeper. He's played four games and played very, very well. He's a very good goalkeeper."
