Fulham manager Jean Tigana will hand midfielder Fabrice Fernandes his first start of the season for the Cottagers' Worthington Cup first round first leg match away to Northampton.
Fernandes has been loaned to Fulham by Rennes for a year and although he came on as substitute against Crewe, he has yet to make the starting line-up.
Tigana is expected to name a much-changed line-up from the one that defeated Birmingham 3-1 on Friday night as he looks to rest some of his senior players.
Fulham have started the new season in blistering form after winning their opening two games and should have few problems in building a first leg league at Division Two side Northampton.
Northampton manager Kevin Wilson is hoping the TV cameras will inspire his side in the tie.
Dave Savage will miss the clash because of a knee injury sustained in the 1-0 defeat at Wycombe but Wilson will delay naming his replacement until the last minute.
Wilson said: "We know we need to improve on Saturday's performance at Wycombe.
"We'll be looking to put on a show in front of the TV cameras."
