Everton are 12th with 37 points
and their highest achievable position
after Match Day 29 is 11th while
the lowest could be 14th
  • EVERTON will be expecting nothing less than maximum points when Fulham visit. The Merseysiders are vying for a fifth successive home win in the Premiership, while Fulham have the weakest away record - indeed they remain the only club in England without an away League win this season. Coupled to that - all nine previous meetings between these clubs have been won by the side playing at home.
  • The Toffees are searching for their 175th all-time Premier League victory in the week David Moyes celebrates four years in charge. He's overseen them narrowly escape relegation twice, in addition to a seventh place and a fourth place finish. The Goodison Park club were sprinting up the table after an indifferent first half to the season, with the aid of a seven-match unbeaten run of six wins and a draw from New Year's Eve. But that resurgence has been checked somewhat with defeat at Newcastle and a draw at West Ham. Scoring goals has been the Toffees' problem with. On average, only one netted every two hours of Premiership football played.
  • The Toffees have not dropped a point in 12 home games against Fulham. Last season, Duncan Ferguson came off the bench to win the match.
  • The last three games - all Premiership - were won, lost and drawn in that order.
  • Lost only one of the last nine Premiership outings.
  • Won six of the last nine League games, but only one of the most recent three.
  • Failed to score in one of 10 Premiership duels.
  • Kept clean sheets in four of the last seven League encounters.
  • On the longest sequence in the Premier League without a goalless draw of 48 matches, since the visit to Blackburn on 18 December 2004.
  • Gone seven Premiership encounters since winning by more than a single goal (3-1, home to Charlton on 2 January).
  • Of 11 Premiership victories, nine were by a 1-0 margin.
  • Of 13 victories in all competitions, 11 have been 1-0 - the others were 2-0 and 3-1.
  • Recovered one point from a losing position - last Saturday's 2-2 draw at West Ham.
  • Won 11 of the 15 League games in which they have opened the scoring.
  • Hold a 100% record when a clean sheet has been kept in the highest echelon (10 of 10).
  • Scored only once in the last 15 minutes of Premiership games.
  • Undefeated in six at home in all competitions (won five, drawn one).
  • Won the last four home Premiership matches against Charlton, Arsenal, Manchester City and Blackburn.
  • The last three home League outings have been 1-0 victories.
  • Not conceded at home in three, or in 342 minutes (five hours 42 minutes) of Premiership football at Goodison Park.
  • James BEATTIE has hit the winner in three of Everton's last four home games - all four of which were won.
  • If he keeps goal from the outset, Nigel MARTYN will be making his 100th start for Everton.
  • When next involved, Alessandro PISTONE will be making his 150th career Premiership appearance (Newcastle and Everton).
  • Suspended: Duncan FERGUSON
LAST SEASON'S CORRESPONDING GAME - 20 November 2004

Everton 1-0 Fulham
Fulham are 16th with 32 points
and their highest achievable position
after Match Day 29 is 14th while
the lowest could be 16th.
  • FULHAM travel determined to avoid a seventh successive loss on the road, and three defeats in a row in the Premiership home and away for the first time since 1 October last year. Chris Coleman's side, who are two places and nine points above the trap door, lie fourth bottom in the top flight's "Last Six Current Form" table with six points from the 18 available.
  • This match pits the second most attractive club to watch in terms of goals per games ratio with the second worst. Premiership games involving Fulham this season have yielded 80 goals (37 for, 43 against), while Everton's have produced just 57 (21 for, 36 against). Newcastle, Charlton and West Brom are the only clubs the Cottagers have prised a point each from on their Premiership travels this term. When this game is staged, it will have been 308 days since Fulham last achieved an away League victory (1-3 at Blackburn on 7 May 2005).
  • The Cottagers last gained a point at Goodison Park on 5 September 1959, with a top flight goalless draw, but they've never won a League game at the Merseyside venue. However the Thames-side club have won twice in the FA Cup there. Most recently, they were 1-2 victors in a fifth round tie on 15 February 1975 when Viv Busby got a brace.
  • Lost last two Premiership matches against Bolton (a) and Arsenal (h).
  • Picked up one win in four top flight encounters - losing the other three.
  • Completed 13 top flight encounters since a scoreless draw (away to West Brom on 3 December).
  • Lost the lead 11 times in the Premiership - that's more occasions than any other club.
  • Lost four top flight games from a winning position. 29 of Fulham's 32 points have been secured at Craven Cottage. The 26 points difference between points claimed at home and away is the widest such dichotamy in the highest division.
  • Conceded 10 Premiership goals in the last 10 minutes.
  • Picked up 14 wins from 90 away Premier League matches all-time.
  • Lost the last six away Premiership matches.
  • Without an away League victory in 14, since their last match of last season on the road (1-3 at Blackburn on 7 May).
  • Only points from their top flight travels have come from draws with Newcastle, Charlton and West Brom.
  • The goalless draw at West Brom on 3 December is the last time Fulham picked up a point on the road.
  • Kept only one clean sheet on their top flight travels this season, and one in 25 League games on the road since the beginning of December 2004 (that being, at West Brom on 3 December 2005).
  • This match offers the chance of an "old boys' reunion" for Mark PEMBRIDGE and Tomasz RADZINSKI.
  • Brian McBRIDE was on loan to Everton from Columbus Crew in the 2002/03 season.
  • Should he get a run out, Niclas JENSEN will be making his 50th career Premiership appearance (Bolton, Charlton and Fulham).
