Jussi Jaaskelainen is convinced Bolton are still in the running for a Champions League place.

The Finland goalkeeper believes consistency is now the key if they are to achieve their goal.

Bolton go into the home match against Fulham on Sunday in bouyant mood after chalking up their first win of the year at the weekend when they defeated Watford.

And Jaaskelainen said: "We just have to keep working hard and maybe that European place will come.

"If we can play to our best we definitely have a chance to push for the Champions League.

"Hopefully we can now kick on and give ourselves at least half a chance to get there."
