how is the wartime childrens song , ten german bombers , offensive , especialy when if the germans didnt send the bombers to blow the sh-t out of england , there wouldnt have been a song
if your english every thing you say is an offence to someone , we are just an offensive bunch according to the bbc and the rest of the liberal pra-ts who purport to be english

Y-a-w-n....if you have to ask....! Are you really going to use an event from 70 years ago to justify a xenophobic chant from two days ago.
Some people need to learn to live in the present and not the past that most of us would rather forget because we are not so perfect ourselves and have killed as many (if not more) innocent people across the world than most countries......

These Middle Aged dickheads are one reason I don't give a toss about England International Football anymore.

BBC very biased in there reporting . Most of em were in tears when we decided to leave The EU, and they just hate it when the economy is doing well.

Stayaway, I appreciate your post is somewhat tongue in cheek but if you really think songs about killing people from other countries is about patriotism whether done in jest or not well........

Mst , How we live in the present , as you put it , is because what we did to the Germans in the past , English and proud !

Would that be true about what we did to the Indians, the indigenous Australians and Americans, and every other country in the Commonwealth?? Oh, I'm so proud of our murderous past.........

Mst , i take it you had no relatives bombed to bits or killed in action by those lovely germans , i did , and i will never forgive them .

I have no doubt that there are millions of people around the world think the same about the English - about five million of them north of our own border.
Let he who casts the first stone be without sin (apparently) or those in glass houses, etc.....
What has any of this got to do with singing anti-Nazi songs at a football match in any case????
posted by MST (Moderator) - Friday 24th March 2017, 4:47 PM
The songs are sung because of what the germans did to us !

Sincerely hope not . People spend too much time on i phones and computer gadgets these days and society is suffering as a result of this in my opinion for what that is worth.

54 Garvan Road, off Greyhound Road. October 10th 1940. Half the family wiped out. Happened to a lot of Fulham families, but no reason to keep going on about it. Marcus, Moreline, my sympathies but digging up old songs is sad and also not very inventive. Just my 2 cents.

We are a nation of pirates; we have hhistorically raided the world, plundered and stole, retreated to our island base and drawn up our drawbridge and viewed our wares.
Despite thevtwo world wars we have a lot to answer for

Well Keetchy, you could say that about every country. As to answering for the past, to who would we answer? BTW, my family name is Ratcliff.
