Been reading some post coating RH for not having quality in depth & letting Kamara go to Celtic.
Kamara - RH said he wouldn't have done it had he had different info on AJ. He took a chance, saved approx £1M on the wage bill but it backfired. So what, we'll have to live with it - I don't rememeber too many voices demanding Kamara get some game time this last month or so since he's been back!
Fulham cannot attract top players like others can. The only pull we have is London (if it suits them) and regular 1st team football. The better players are not gonna stay on the bench at Fulham on half the money they can get for doing the same (nothing) at Spurs, City, Villa. Thats why he has to gamble on lesser lights, unknowns or journeymen to make up the squad. Did anyone really think Kelly was taken on a free to push for a regular 1st team spot? Same with Nevland, Elm & Riise. When McGleish does it at B'ham he's some sort of master. RH does it and he gets coated. They're 2 spots above us & we're trying to do Europe as well! Last game was the first change of palyer in 13 games - regular side, does well, what does that remind you of?
Great group of lads (& lassies?) singing at back of H3. Keep it up. It drowns out the odd moron who's still about and thinks its helpful to boo, rubbish the team in general and insult one or two fringe players in particular just because of a poor run. How many points did we thinbk we we're going to get against Chelsea, Spurs, Stoke & Blackburn away & Villa? 4 max I reckon. We dropped 4 points, not 15.

agree with most of what you say mate. Personally im not that fussed about kamara going, he never did look good enough, and hodgson was at the time reasonably sure about AJ returning.
mcleish has done a good job but he was helped by Birmingham's morale being revitalised by a new chairman with lots of money arriving. I still think well finish above them by the close of the season another top ten season would be a considerable success given how teams we finished above last season have invested
