A good team performance tonigt and one of our easiest premership wins in years.
A special mention for 3 players..
Chris Baird - vilified as a right back, suddenly turned into a makalele like midfielder- did the simple things well, pressed the ball and got his tackles in.
Damian Duff - had his full back on toast, seems to have found an extra yard of pace - a strong contender for mom
Bobby Zamora - 2 in 8 for BZ now, great goal and a fantastic assist. Have we found our 1st choice front 2?

delighted with the performance last night but Hull were terrible and i dont think its being harsh on our team to say we could have seen more than the two goals we did.
Very pleased with Zamora, any goal for him is always welcome but its nice to see him so alert, his assist is typical of the performance he so often gives for the team, truly selfless. He'll never be a top class striker but im glad he didnt leave for hull in the summer, if we can land a quality forward in january and have zamora as a hard working squad player ill be delighted

Great win, Hull came for a point and left empty handed, just as it should be. We've got more points from the same amount of games as this time last year, after a tougher draw this year, lets hope Europe in mid-week doesn't take too much out of the lads so they can make it three years running taking all three points in manchester.
